Emily and her boyfriend Austin have been together for 5 months already and everything had been going great.. well that's what she thought until that night. It was a Friday night and Emily was spending the night at her boyfriend's house. She was sitting on the couch laying in her cookie monster pajamas and her yolo shirt. She looked at her phone and it was around 11:30 and she was getting worried because Austin was usually back by then. She tried calling him but no answer. She just ignored it for a while and watched television and ended up falling asleep on the couch.
A couple hours pass and Austin finally walks in the door completely drunk and just talking really loud. Emily wakes up, "Why are you being so loud? Do you know what time it is? And where have you been it's 3 am... I thought we were watching a movie tonight? He looks around and goes to the kitchen and grabs a glass of water, "I have no idea what you're talking about I'm perfectly fine and I was hanging out with the guys and Ally." Emily never really liked Ally so she just scoffed and ignored him and went to sleep and he went to his room and slept.
The next morning she woke up and took a shower and she heard Austin talking to someone on the phone. She walked to his door and started listening to his conversation since he was laughing and being goofy which he hasn't done with her in a while. She was so confused until he said: "I love you, Ally, I'll be sure to meet you at the bar tonight." He hung up and Emily walked back downstairs in jeans and a t-shirt, and just went to the kitchen to make herself breakfast. Austin soon came down in shorts and a t-shirt and sat down, "I'm going to the bar with the guys tonight babe." She looks down and takes a sip of apple juice, "you mean Ally... I heard you on the phone with her." He gets up and slams a plate to the ground and it breaks. "What is wrong with you! Why are you listening to my conversations... Does it look like I was talking to you" She looks down and just gets frustrated... " I can't believe you.." He looks at her and says, "Well believe it sunshine we're over. You're awful and I love Ally so get out!" She goes and grabs her stuff crying and then leaves and he slams the door after she walks out and yells to never come back.
She goes to her best friend Brittney's house and she hugs her crying and Brittney takes her to her room and lets her sit down and watch tv and she brings her some pizza for lunch. She just sits with her all day while Emily rants about Austin and Brittney says "Boys are overrated Em... He obviously just lost the best thing that has ever happened to him. Emily hugs Brittney and then takes a nap for a while to get everything off her mind. Brittney takes a nap as well and orders Shawn Mendes tickets since it's one of her favorites and Emily enjoys him too. When they wake up Brittney tells Emily about the tickets and was so excited to go.
