Numero Privatized Militias HeadquartersA loud crack could be heard as an average height, mohawked, peach-colored, teenage boy's booted foot collided with the skull of a caramel colored boy with short black hair, sending him to the cushioned ground of a large training dojo the two were in. The adolescent who was picking himself up from the ground wore black and blue military fatigues, sporting digitally camouflaged combat pants, a dark blue and black long sleeve combat shirt, and some black military-style boots. He wore a patch on his left shoulder with the number "015" embroidered on it.
"You always get hit by those, Benny." The kicking boy said, lowering his guard to offer a hand to the boy on the ground. He wore a similar combat uniform, completed by a patch reading "069". "You should really raise your guard to stop me from doi-" before he could finish that statement he was pinned to the ground, a sweeping kick from the downed combatant sending him on his back. The coffee-colored teenager named Benny stood up chuckling, offering a hand this time.
"You should avoid lowering yours." Benny said, lifting his sparring partner to his feet. "Although I'll tell you, Mason," he said, holding the side of his head. "Those kicks are definitely getting harder."
Mason folding his arms, raising his chin slightly with a proud smirk on his face. "They'll continue to get stronger kicking your ass around." The two shared one more laugh before they backed away from each other, repositioning themselves in there combat poses.
They side stepped in a circle around each other, waiting for one to make the first move. Benny's guard was tight and tough, his arms close to his face as he circulated close to the ground. Whereas, Mason's guard was looser, a bounce in his step as he moved around with his hands down to his sides, ready to throw them back up to block any incoming strike. This went on for a while, neither Mason nor Benny making a move. Coming down from a bounce, Mason landed on his right leg a little too much, setting him into a small stumble to which he lost his balance slightly. Seeing this as an opportunity, Benny rushed in quickly, stepping to Mason right before throwing a quick left jab, narrowly dodged by Mason. He countered this attack with an open-palm jab to Benny's nose, sending him stumbling back slightly as he repositioned his guard. Mason then went on the offensive, starting his attack with a jumping kick followed by quick left and right arm hooks that Benny just guarded himself from. Benny knew he couldn't just hold himself in without attacking for much longer, he decided he'd go for another take down. If I can get him to the ground I can definitely get an edge on him, he thought, as he stepped back before throwing a lightning fast sweeping kick. Joy washed over Benny's face as the maneuver went perfectly, however, confusion ensued as he felt no connection. That confusion was soon met with a flash of black and white as Benny was sent tumbling across the sparring grounds, a second aerial kick by Mason connecting with his abdomen after simply jumping over the sweeping kick.
Benny quickly got to his feet, his stomach in pain from the intense kick. I got to do something different, he thought. He couldn't just sit and be kicked over and over by his adversary, but counter measures were hard to derive as Mason began to rush towards Benny once again. With a leap in the air Mason prepared to bring his right leg down upon Benny's shoulder. A quick side step and Benny had dodged the powerful attack, following this by placing Mason in a bear hug before leaning back to suplex Mason into the slightly cushioned ground.
Mason stayed down with this counter, coughing to catch his breath as all of it had left his body with the impact. Once he had recovered his air, he stood up, shaking Benny's hand. "I guess that means you win, two to one. Good move out there."
