A girl was coming down surrounded by her relatives being dressed in an maroon colour anarkali covering her head with the scarf holding the tray.

"Laado.!!" Her mother brings her out from the crowd and sighs her to hand over the coffee to the groom to be.

She nods and forwarded the coffee cup to him while he slightly caressed her knuckles in the process and she immediately dropped the cup letting it falling on the floor resulting in splashing of coffee over him.

"What is this ragini..??" Her uncle scolded but she clenched her eyes shut in reflection not letting her tears out like she used to do before.

"Sorry mamaji., my hands got slipped.." she apologised.

"It's okay.., it happens.." the groom concluded putting an end to the further argument.

"We are sorry beta.." her uncle apologised once again.

"As you all already know that i like ragini., why should we wait for the marriage anymore..Don't think like i am forcing or urging you to make the marriage preparations earlier it's nothing but i wanted to see ragini as my wife .." he completed.

"Haa janaki ji., my son is right.. We wanted to see ragini as our bahu soon.." groom's mother too expressed her wish.

"It's our pleasure to tie up an alliance with you Mrs.Khanna but i wanted to ask ragini whether she is ready for this marriage or not.." janaki said looking at her daughter who is just standing like an statue staring outside.

"What's there to ask janaki ji.? It's already decided one and ragini too said okay for this earlier.,then what's there to ask her..?? They are small kids and they will be happy by our decision.." Mrs.Khanna said looking at her soon who is grinning at her.

"You are right but i wanted to ask her opinion once again since she is the one who is going to spend rest of her life with your son and moreover i needed only my daughter's happiness and it is nothing wrong in getting confirmed twice.." Janaki said averting her gaze to her daughter.

"Laado.."

"Maa.." ragini came out from her daze and looked at her mother longing for something.

"Do you like him..?? Shall we fix your marriage with him..??" Janaki asked questioningly.

"Maa.." her lips shivered and her throat got dried.

"She is shying to say infront of us janaki ji.." Mrs.Khanna said while ragini lifted her head in shock.

"Maa.. it's..i me-an i don't want thi-s marr-iage with N-e-i-l K-h-a-n-n-a.." she successfully said stuttering.

"What the hell..??" Neil screamed aloud.

"Yes., i don't wan-ted to get married to you Mr.Khanna.." ragini said stammering again.

"Do you know what you are saying ragini..??" Mrs. Khanna yelled.

"I know what i am saying aunty and i mean every single word.." ragini said before averting her gaze to her.

"Maa., do you think that i will be happy with neil..?? Don't you remember whatever his family members said when they came to see me at first..?? It hurts me maa.. their words will be kept ringing in my mind everyday if i  got married to him., i can't be happy with him and i won't.." Ragini explained her feelings to her mother.

"Is this what bothering you ragini..?? I already apologised to you and to your mother for the things that had happened.  Just forget about that and move on.." Neil said casually.

"Forget and move on..?? Do you really think that i can do that..?? Your family have praised us more that i could never ever forgot in my life time.." ragini spoke sarcastically while it pinched neil's heart though.

"Ragini.." her uncle raised his voice to control her.

"I am sorry mamaji but i need to speak today.. If i does not open my mouth today then everything would be messed up.." ragini said sternly being adamant.

"You did wrong by rejecting me ragini.. You are losing someone important.."

"Well.,I am not losing anyone who is important.. Don't think like being rejected Mr.Khanna.,you deserve a better girl than me who is from the well traditional family unlike me who is a fatherless child .." Ragini said while her eyes reflected pure hurt.

"Maa., i like someone.."

"So that's the thing.. You love someone and that's why you are doing drama to stop this proposal., Aren't you..??" Neil asked.

"Well you are smart enough to understand everything too quick so why not leave from here with some pride.." ragini showed her hand to the door which ticked neil's anger completely.

"Do you want to hear anything else.. Let's leave now neil before getting chased out.." Mrs.Khanna said pulling her son outside forcefully.

"You will regret for this Ragini.." Neil glared her gritting his teeth.

"I won't regret at all..Thank you for your words.." ragini gave him a faint smile.

"What's happening here janu..?? Do you know about this matter before..??" Janaki's brother questioned while she nodded in no.

"Ragini.. Would you bother letting us know whom do you like..?? " Janaki asked.

"He is my F-r-i-e-n-d .." ragini said stuttering.

"FRIEND..??"

"How could you like your friend..??" Her uncle shouted once again.

"What's wrong in falling for her friend..??" A voice came from the door.

"Laksh.." Janaki mumbled.

"Who is that lucky fellow madam ji..??" Laksh arched his eyebrows.

"It's you Mr.Lucky Fellow.." Ragini said the next moment shocking him.

"What..??" Laksh's eyes widened in shock.

"Yes., I like you Mr.Lakshya Maheshwari and I love you.." Ragini confessed infront of her family while he went frozen on his spot.

I don't know whether you would like it or not but i just wanted to share this simple story of RagLak with you guys..
