"Ragini.." janaki screamed when she found RagLak in an compromising position being lost hugging each other.

Janaki's voice started them and made them to part away from the other.

"I never expected this from you.. We were worried and searching for you but here you are with Laksh.. Bhaiya was right he correctly guessed that you would be here only." Janaki chided at her daughter for coming over to laksh's house at late night.

"Maa., Laksh is leaving.." Ragini said crying badly lowering her head.

"Whatever it may be..!! You should not come like this.. Why can't you understand that it's not safe to walk over alone at night but you will never ever listen me at all.." janaki's anger raised when ragini's safety flashed infront of her at first.

"Maa., i am sorry.. Please.." ragini pouts sadly brushing the floor by her foot.

"Stop brushing the floor like we are here for your bride seeing.." janaki screamed when ragini acted like an immature teenager.

"Aunty., i am sorry.. Everything is only because of me.." Laksh apologised trying to prove ragini's side.

"Will you stop taking her side always.?? It's you who spoiled her by supporting her... Look at her., showing your innocent face and puppy eyes won't work this time Laado.." Janaki looked at her angrily while her eyes turned moist by her mom's simple question., Actually Janaki was right., it's not safe for girls to walk alone on the abandoned road that too at midnight., Hearing from news.,Lots of abuse and harassment's., it's literally threatening every girl's parents to safeguard their daughters with some extra care by knowing their whereabouts and to protect them from the evils., those bad vibes started spinning janaki's head when she does not found her daughter at her room., she started panicking and shankar was 200 percent sure that ragini will be at laksh's place only., so he drives along with janaki to annapurna house.

"I am sorry maa.."

"Come with me.." janaki grasped ragini's wrist and dragged her outside with her while her other hand entwined with Laksh's got parted while ragini looked at him emotionally walking away from him.

"Aunty.. Ek minute.." Laksh's voice stopped janaki from proceeding further while laksh scuttered to them in reflex.

"Bless me.." Laksh immediately touched janaki's feet waiting for her blessing.

"Khush raho Laksh.. " Janaki brushed his hairs lovingly and blessed him wholeheartedly.

"I am going to delhi tomorrow., I need your blessings aunty.." He said looking at ragini sadly.

"My wishes will be with you always laksh.. All the best my boy.. But Anu will be missing you in your absence Laksh., I want you to reconsider your decision.." Janaki explained him the real fact which somehow saddened laksh too.

"But how long mom will work and moreover i need to do a job to fulfill ra.. ragini's wishes and to M.A.R.R.Y HER.." Laksh said looking at ragini's eyes confidently.

"We are leaving.." Janaki uttered when she does not know what to say to laksh whether to encourage his love for her daughter or to hate her boy for loving ragini., how could she hate her little kid whom she adored and treated him equally just like ragini and uttara.

"I will come to you one day for asking ragini's hand aunty and that day is not so far.." Laksh screamed happily while janaki's heart filled with the happiness of satisfaction., at the corner of her heart she already accepted laksh's love for her daughter.

"Dekh.., i told you know janu that ragini will be here only.." Shankar fumed in anger.

"Bhaiya.." ap interrupted but was cut by shankar.

"I considered you like janu only anu and that's why i never queried you or bothered about your son being close with ragini but whatever your son did was not right., he back stabbed us by taking advantage of the freedom we gave to him.." Shankar blasted in anger and he could not accept the fact that laksh loves ragini.

"He never took advantage or misused your feelings mamaji., infact laksh is not at fault. He never knows that i love him until i confessed it by myself infront of you all today evening.." ragini said descending the stairs while ticking shankar's anger beyond the limits.

"Ragini.." he shouted in a rage clenching his jaw.

"Uncle please.. it's all my fault.." Laksh comes folding his hands together against his chest.

"Oh stop it laksh., do you think that i would believe you after all this happened ..?" Shankar vented out.

"But that's the truth mamaji., You believe it or not that's not our business., we don't have to prove ourself because we know whatever we said was true.." Ragini raised her voice against her uncle when he kept saying the same standing against them.

"Ragini.. Is this the way to talk to bhaiyya..??" Janaki asked but ragini rushed out without hearing her.

"I am sorry on her behalf.." Laksh lowered his head in guilty.

"Haa bhaiyya., we are sorry.." ap too joined but shankar just left showing his cold attitude in return.

"Everything will be fine.. Don't worry.." Janaki placed her palm on ap's hand in an consoling manner..

Ap nods and janaki followed her brother.

"You are not going anywhere from on., your college ended already and you are allowed only for your exams hereafter.." Shankar warned and asked uttara to take care of ragini since she is at her study holidays.

"Mamaji.." ragini started but was interrupted.

"Go to your room ragini.." Shankar yelled startling ragini.

"But papa.." uttara uttered but got deathly glares from shankar.

"I said you both to get back to your room.." Shankar shouted aloud making the sisters to head back to their room.

"Janu., please don't pamper her anymore.. i think you will understand me.." Shankar said while janaki simply nodded and went to her room immediately.

"I wanted to get her marry right after her exams and that's the good for everyone.." Shankar thinks rubbing his temple.

"You are having exams and viva laksh.."

"Mom.. i will come back to exams but before that i need to get a job mom.." Laksh says cupping his mom's cheeks.

"But my boy.."

"Please mom., don't stop me.." laksh requested in an pleading tone.

"Okay whatever but don't spoil your health and don't forget to study for your final exams.." ap strictly ordered him while he hugged her lovingly.

"I will never let you near her.. I will show you who i am.. She will never be yours.." he crushed the photograph and the next moment tore the laksh's half picture and he lighted fire on laksh's image.

"I will burn you like this.." he dropped the ashes on the floor and his eyes showed the fire burning.

Short and boring update., sorry for that and the next thing is thank you everyone for making this ff reach 8th position on short story last week (21.07.2018) .
