"Allison, it's okay, no need to apologize." I said holding back emotions, giving my now ex-girlfriend a faint reassuring smile.
"But Scott, it isn't okay, you didn't do anything wrong and I'm just letting you go because I'm too weak to deal with everything." Allison said as we sat on her bed. She was crying letting each tear, one after the other, fall to her cheek and drip down her chin.
"If you feel like you can't deal with it, I can't force you to deal with anything, it's just too hard for you, there's nothing I can do but let you handle it yourself." I said. I had to be strong, I had to be a man, as much as I felt like breaking down and crying right now, I couldn't bring myself to it. I had to hold on to ever single ounce of strength I had left.
That is exactly what I did.
I looked her straight into the eye. As she sniffled and her sadness was lunging at me. "I'll wait for you." I told her giving her a faint smile.
"No, no Scott I can't, I can't make you wait for me-and I won't" She said almost yelling at my remark. I just need to be with her so bad and I'd do anything to just to be within her vicinity. Whether I had to wait until I was 100 years old, we would be together again.
"I can wait for you, because I know, one day, We'll be together." I said holding on to the last strand of hope I had. I didn't care if she agreed or not. I couldn't just let the past year go away. How she made me feel. When I was around her my heart pounded out of my chest. I loved her. I love her. I always will.
"Scott, there's no such thing as fate"
"Allison, There's no such thing as werewolves"
