Emily's Point Of View*
School is my refugee, my safehouse. Why is this? It's because I'm abused at home by my father.
He has been abusing me ever since I was 5, ever since he killed my mom, his wife. I dont hate him for abusing me because afterwards, when he comes to his civilized self he always apologizes to me. I dont blame my dad for it, I blame him. My dad loses all control of his body, then his body belongs to him. You see, our family has a special gene in our DNA. It comes from my dad's side. I like to think of it as a curse. The special thing about this gene is that it gives us two personalities. It also only allows you to have only one child.
Have you ever heard of the story of Jekyll and Hyde? Well, that was my great,great,great grand father. Well, now I have the pleasure of carrying that gene around with me as well. My mom was also a vampire so to stay alive I have to go out each night after school and find a source of blood, in other words, kill someone. Luckily though, my mom found these special vitamin pills that contain something that allows me to have a time limit before I transfer into my evil half.
The funny thing is, is that my two halves are completely different. Only one thing in common and that is the body in which they use to either do a cheerleading routine or cover up a dead body in an allie way.
