I open up the heavy doors and walk into my safehouse, school. As I walk to my locker to get to my books, I notice that once again that Billy, my best friend, had been pushed into his locker again. I chuckle as I walk over and twist the lock in a comination of numbers to unlock my friend. He scrambles out of the locker, rearranging his quirky glasses. Billy has been my friend ever since we were little. He was the first one to realise the bruises on my arms and he is the only other person that knows about my DNA. Other than my family of course. He is the kind of person that is always nervouse and aware, but he does make one hell of a friend. Although his fashion sense isnt quite as good as his frienship
'Thanks' he mutters as he picks his books up from the bottom of the locker.
'No problem, we better get going before we are late to class again' I say as i examine the hallway of people of all different personalities rushing to their classes, looking for the fastest route to my locker. As we stroll over to my locker Billy whispers in my ear, 'Still taking your meds?'
'Yes of course I am. You know I always take them, no wait I think I forgot them this morning.'
A serious look flashed across his face. 'Im kidding, Im kidding, you are so easy to scare,' I snicker as we walk to our first lesson, biology.
'That's not funny!' He elbows my ribcage in a teasing way. I turn to him and let my violet eyes show, 'You better be careful mister,' I say in a deep voice as though something is possessing me.
'Im sorry, oh my god please dont hurt me, its me Billy, your best friend!' The look on his terrified face was enough to keep me laughing all the way to class. We sit down and open our books as the class began.
'I hate you sometimes.' he mumbles to me as I begin to write the date.
'No this isnt the personality that you should hate, it's the other one youre not safe from...'
