"It didn't work. We cannot decode the message." a Chinese man hangs up the phone. "Call Raymond Reddington."

Luli watches as Red plays chess by himself. A man comes up to him "A message from Wujing." Red continues playing, he doesn't look up at him "Good God not here." the man steps closer to him "This needs to be done quickly."
"Give Dembe the details, I'll have my replacement shortly." he moves another chess piece "I prefer to play with myself in private." he smiles at the gray haired man.

"We have a unique opportunity in our hands." Red says as Liz and Allison walk into a hat shop where Red's looking at two fedoras. Liz comes closer to him. Red looks at her "The Chinese shot an American agent in Shanghai, thinking they could decode a message, they couldn't. So they've asked me to help." Allison nods
"You're going to help the Chinese decode a classified document from the Americans?" Red tilts his head "Now see Allie, you're making it sound like treason so black and white, it's not, it's green. Frederick, both." he says to the man at the counter. He then looks back at Liz "A man who calls himself Wujing, he's the next name on the Blacklist."
"He's a myth."
"That's what they said about Deep Throat. And the G-spot. I've arranged a cover for both of you." Liz and Allison look at him confused "Our cover? As what?" Red stares at her "Carolyn Givens and Jennifer Scott, my assistants. You both graduated from MIT and you're my best encryption artists."
"What? No! I know nothing about encryption!" Liz and Allison leave

"Reddington insists on you two." Cooper says. Meera and Ressler watch as Liz and Allison shake their heads "I'm sorry. I can't."
Ressler points at a computer screen "Look at those pictures. If you don't do this, those lives will be lost. That will be on you."
Liz goes back to Red. "Okay. Say I do this, what's in it for me?" The criminal chuckles "Look at you two, trying to negotiate with me." Allison stares at him "I want answers."
"To?"
"The truth." he nods. "We should get going." they go to the Post Office. Red replies "WDCJ. It's a radio station the Chinese are working in to decode messages." Ressler stops "Whoa, whoa, wait....You're saying they're using a radio station as their hideout?" Red nods. Liz replies "So, once I decode the message, the Chinese get it too." Red nods "Yes. Then the race begins. They want to end the target's life, while we're trying to save him." Ressler quips "We could give them a false message."
"No."
Meera nodded "It could work." Red shakes his head "I said no. The Chinese don't know what the message is, but they certainly know what it isn't. We do this for real or we don't do it at all."
Allison nods "Okay. Great plan, except like I said, I know nothing about encryption." Meera looks at her "I've got a friend that could help you with that."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meera listens as her friend speaks in Mandarin. "The Chinese will give you the message in one of these. You'll need a satellite connection to decode it. If you don't have a satellite connection, use this. It looks just like a flash drive."
Ressler, Allison, and Liz wait at a doughnut shop for Red. Meera gives her a tracker "Do you smoke?" Liz shakes her head "No." Meera nods "Well, now you do. Or you're trying to quit. This is a top notch CIA tracking device. It looks just like a nicotine patch, but it's made out of polycarbon, meaning it won't be detected in security."
