Xanxus had thought he wouldn't see that strange boy again but he was wrong.
So very wrong.
"Xan-kun~" the boy greeted Xanxus with a wide smile, greeting as if he didn't just nearly get killed by him two days earlier.
When faced with a situation like this, Xanxus did what every sensible man would do.
He turned around and left the fucking room.
"Well... that did not go as I thought it would be," Tsuna mused as he stared at the empty spot Xanxus was standing in earlier.
"Must be a parallel world thing." Shouichi commented absentmindedly, not really caring what's happening while he was messing with the object in his hands.
"Do you need me to get him back?" Chrome asked, looking back and forth between the empty spot and Tsuna.
"That would be very much appreciated. Thank you, my dear." Tsuna smiled.
Nodding to him in affirmation, she slightly bowed before being enshrouded by mist flames.
Gokudera rolled his eyes at that. "Fucking mists and their love for theatrics," the Storm scoffed, but if you know him as well as Tsuna does, you can hear a tone of endearment in it. A very faint and barely audible one, but still there.
"Let them have their fun. Plus, I just remembered that during our third time, a certain someone had-"
"It's rude to not look at the person you're talking to," Gokudera reminded him with a tight smile.
Tsuna just shot him a knowing look before he shifted his gaze back at a now amused Timotheo. "Apologies for my rudeness, Vongola Nono."
The old man merely chuckled at that. "None necessary. Although, I am impressed by the bonds you have with Guardians," he complimented.
"Thank you." Tsuna smiled. "Now, shall we continue where we left off?"
"Of course, of course," Timotheo placed the cup down on the coffee table in front of him. Crossing his legs, Timotheo flashed a smile at the young Sky and motioned him to continue.
Tsuna was not fooled by that sweet and pleasant appearance for one second. After all, he's also doing the same thing. He did learned from the man himself, even if it's from another timeline and universe.
"As I was saying, I believe that Xanxus has the capability and credibility to become an excellent leader and thus, I nominate him to be Vongola Decimo." he said with a pleasant smile. "Plus, I knew that he would lead Vongola to a more prosperous time." he continued, ignoring the memories of the Vongola's downfall during Xanxus' reign several times before this timeline/parallel world.
"And your intuition told you so?" Timotheo mused.
"Yes," Tsuna lied through his teeth. "My intuition is never wrong." he guaranteed, ignoring the painful throb happening in his head. "After all, what could go wrong?"
His mind said, 'Everything,' but he ignored that.
