"Go get him Tara, we can't be late!" Cora said as we sat in Mike's driveway. His parents are out, and his car is here so we know he's home.

"Okay, fine. But to let you know, I'm not supposed to be up and moving around much, remember? Mike's going to be worried!" I replied as I got out of the car.

"whatever, just go get him!" She said a little appolegetically.

I walked up the walk way, and onto the porch. As I was about to ring the doorbell, the door opened. Mike stood in the door way looking as handsome as he alwasy does. Even though he's just wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Simple, but yet, it's perfect. he's perfect.

"Hey babe, what are you doing up? YOu know your supposed to be off your feet as much as possible." Mike said in a worried tone.

"Such a worry-wart, huh? Well you can blame Cora for this. She made me come up here and get you, say's we can't be late." I looked at my watch and saw we were about ten minutes late now. "Well, looks like she is out of luck, it's 5:10. We were supposed to be there ten minutes ago." I told Mike.

"Well she will have to suck it up, she's the one always 'fashionably late' as she calls it. It's our turn." He said makeing air quotes around fahionably late.

Mike leaned down, and kissed me. We got into it a little, and then Cora scared the shit out of us by honking the horn and rolling down the window.

"You two can suck faces, after the shower. come on we're late!" She yelled at us through the window while laughing slightly.

Mike and I just flipped her off, while smiling.

He wrapped his arm around my waist and walked me to the car. He helped me into the passenger seat, making sure that the seatbelt was on correctly. One more reason to love him, he takes such good care of me and our little angel. He kissed my cheak before shutting the door and getting into the backseat.

"So Tara, are you excited? Little Sarah will be here in only a month!" Cora asked me.

"Actually I'm a little nervous. I'm scared something will go wrong, and the we'll lose her. That will destroy me." I told her honestly.

"We aren't going to lose her babe. She'll be just fine." Mike said encouragingly from the backseat, while rubbing my shoulders. which caused me to relax a bit.

"I know, it's just a mothers worry." I told them.

"It;s fine sweetie, we understand." Cora said, keeping her eyes on the road.

We were almost to the church where the baby bshower will be held.

"Shit! I didn't even realize that we were almost out of gas, if we want to leave the shower we need to stop for gas. Is that alright?" Cora asked me.

"Yeah that's fine, I honestly don't want to be stuck at a church all night." I said laughing.

We pulled into the nearest Speedway. As we pulled into the deserted parking lot, I got this strange feeling that something was going to happen. I don't know if it will be good or bad. But It's there.

Cora got out to pump the gas, when she was done she went in to pay for the gas. That's when it happened.
