They stood there in front of me with stupid smirks on their faces. Their arms were crossed and I must admit they looked cute. Yes, cute not hot but cute.

I suddenly laughed at my thought about them and they looked at me surprised. I guess most people only swoon over them or fear them. Ohh they probably wondering why a human is in their school and isn't even scared.

"Aww this is so cute!"I exclaimed pretending to be excited. "I can't believe the principal sent you to welcome me to the school. Thank you so much!" I said. " look can you please just show me my first class and Ill avoid you like the plague. I don't want your attention I just want to get to class." I said with a deadpanned expression on my face.

They looked shoked to say the least. I sighed and mumbled"useless" I looked up at them and said,"look you are obviously the leaders and topdogs of this school so I'll make this as simple as possible. I'm a shadow. A nobody. And I want to stay that way. You are the top dogs or alpha males of the school. Basically the leaders that have everyones attension. Something I dispies so if you leave me alone, I will stay out of you business. Do we have a deal?" I asked with a tired sigh escaping my lips.

They just stood there staring at me with surprise and a small hint of ... respect? Oh well.

"I'll let you get back to me on that." I said and walked away to my first class.

Just as I was about to enter my first class, I smelt him. I smelt my mate. Great... another person to babysit. I just entered the class and went straight to the teacher.

Surprisingly the teacher was on time and it was a 50yearold lady with a bobcut and blond dyed hair. She was very nice and asked to to sit down next to Declan.

Now you see at first I didnt mind but then it all clicked as I took a look at the guy she was pointing at. Declan is my mate... and with the power I could sence lurking under the surface I knew he was the one I was sent for. This makes my mission and life so much harder.

Not only do I have to pretend to be human till his birthday at the end of the week but I have to protect him and stay by his side. I have to report back to MrC every three days and not let him get suspicious. Then I have to tell him everything on his birthday when his power is granted freedom and train a possesive and over protective male wolf how to control his power.

My life is wonderful. Aint it?

I saw him tense when we made eye-contact and I knew he realised he is mated to a 'human' and he is probably trying to figure this out. He gave me a warm smile as I walked over to the seat next to him.

"Hi .I'm Declan." He said once all my books were out.

"Hi. Im Morganna" I said with a smile. His smile seemed to transform into a boyish grin.

"Nice name. Where are you from?"

"Everywhere. I traveled alot. But I feel like I should settle down soon. I mean I've already been accross the world so why not?." I said. After this mission I am staying if he accepts me. He just looked shocked.

"Umm lets focus on class and maybe, umm if you want, you can sit with us during break?" He asked unsure.

"Sure. Sounds fun. We might see each other in one or two of our other classes." Okay that was a lie. I know I'm in all of his classes but I have to pretend to be shocked.

"Yeah maybe. Can I see your schedule?" He asked and I gave it to him. "Wow we have all our lessons together. Your schedule is the exact same as mine. Cool. Want me to show you around later?" He asked with a hopeful look in his eyes.
