Chapter 19

Hunter's POV

"What do you mean you won't raise it?" Jenny yelled at me.

"I told you! I don't care about it! It was a drunken mistake. I love Kay and I don't want our relationship to be ruined because of it." I told her.

"Fine leave. I think she would like to know that you cheated on her." She smirked. I flinched. She knew I didn't mean to.

"Never speak of it." I told her.

I turned around and walked out of her house. I will not leave Kay.

Confused?

Let me explain. After Kay told me about Jenny, I went to go see her. I didn't mean to barge out of there like that, but I wanted to know if it was true.

The cheating part was true. I didn't mean to though. I never told her because I was ashamed. I got mad one night and went to a party. I got really drunk and slept with Jenny.

I got into my truck and pulled out. I have to talk to Kay.

Kay's POV

I hated that he left. I hated that she was pregnant. I hated that I ever fell in love with Hunter.

All I want to do is curl up in a ball and cry. Never see the world again. I know I can't though. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my father gasp.

I told my parents what I wanted to do. I want to move to London to finish off my senior year. Hunter and Jenny could be together and raise the child. I was not letting him leave her.

"You will not! Why would you want to anyways?" My father asked me.

"Because I just want to! Plus Aunt Amy said she would let me live with her! She lives a block away from the high school and three blocks away from the university." I told him. I really wanted to go. Get a new life.

"I will have to think about it.I will also have to call my sister. I can't believe she is going with this." My father said . I nodded my head happy.

I told them thanks then went to my room. My phone buzzed with a new text. It was from Hunter.

'Hey babe! My family is inviting you and your family over for a barbecue. It will be a huge crowd!' It ready. I quickly said I could.

I need to tell him my plan. I told my parents and they were down with it.

At exactly 6:30, my family and I were standing in front of the Green house. I knocked on the door before I could back out. Hunter opened the door a second later. He smiled when he saw me.

I just frowned. I don't want to tell him.

"Come in!" Hunter said. He pulled me into a hug and kissed me. When I didn't kiss back, he pulled back. I saw hurt flash in his eyes.

"Are you ok?" He asked. I nodded yes. He led me to the back porch. There had to have been at least a hundred people here. He wasn't kidding when he said it was going to be big.

My eyes weaved through the people looking for anyone that I knew. My eyes stopped on one person.

Jenny.

Why is she here? I really don't like her right now.

"I'll be back." I told him. He looked confused but didn't object.

I went to the bathroom. I splashed some water onto my face then looked into the mirror.

The person staring back at me wasn't me.

The person staring back at me had bags under her eyes, her eyes were dull, her face was pale. I hated the person staring back at me.

I don't know how we got here but Hunter, Jenny, Mia, and I were sitting in there living room. Me and Mia were sitting on one couch while Hunter and Jenny were sitting on the other couch. I need to tell them now.

"Hey guys? I need to tell ya'll something." I told them. After all of them looked at me I started.

"I made a decision." I said. They all nodded telling continue.

"I will be moving to London to live with my aunt."

"No you won't!" Hunter yelled.

"Why is this your choice?" I yelled back.

"Because you are mine! I want to spend the rest of my life with you! Is this because of Jenny? I won't raise that child!" Hunter said.

"I will not let you do that! That child needs a father." I told him.

"Well now that your moving I think I need to tell you something." Jenny spoke up. I nodded.

"Hunter slept with me at a party. That's why I'm pregnant." Tears stung in my eyes.

"Was it that night you got mad? You told me you went to James." The tears started falling. Mia came over and hugged me. I was too numb to move.

"I-I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking! I got drunk and..." He started. I stopped him before he could continue.

"That's great. I will be moving and that's final. I am going home to pack. I will be leaving Friday." I told them.

"That's in two days!" Hunter yelled. I nodded. Mia told me she would help.

"I hope you have a good life Hunter." I told him before I waked away. I was not turning around now.

It is now Friday. The Friday I was leaving the U.S. for London. Mia was with me. She was going to bring me to the airport.

"Do you have to go?" Mia asked me. I felt bad. I am going to miss my best friend.

"I have to. I won't be able to stand looking at Hunter and Jenny with their baby. This is for the good." I told her. She just nodded.

We arrived at the airport 5 minutes later. This was the moment I will be leaving my life in Florida.

"Goodbye Mia. I love you." I told her. I was crying now.

"I love you too Kay." She said. She pulled me into a hug. This will be the last hug before I start me new life. I pulled away and started to my gate. I waved to Mia before I got onto the plane.

Goodbye old life. Hello new life. I got seated on the plane and buckled in.

"Welcome to the nonstop flight to London..." I didn't hear the rest of what they said. I was ready.

Hunter's POV

She really left. She just got up and left. I was mad at her but more angry at myself. If I hadn't gone to that party I would never have to say goodbye to her.

I snapped out of my thoughts to Jenny slightly gasping. We were at her first doctors appointment. I finally get to see my child.

The image popped up on the screen. I was speechless. The child on the screen was mine.

Maybe this was for the best.
