PRESENT DAY

"I love you Rosie"

I looked up but it was dark so I couldn't see the face of my lover speaking to me

"I love you too"

He grabbed the back of my head and proceeded to give me slow- tongue mouthwatering kisses that had heat curling in my belly and had me sighing out with contentment.

"How much?"

"How much what?" I asked, my hands playing in his soft, silky hair

"How much do you love me?"

I smiled, thinking how cute it was that he had insecurities when he should know that I would never ever leave him for anybody else.

"I love you very much"

He didn't reply for a long time, I began to wonder if he had fallen asleep on my chest but then I heard his deep voice echo such a strange sentence.

"Would you kill for me Rosie?"

My heart started beating. I didn't understand where he was getting at

He moved up till he was looming over me. I could make out his silhouette.

"Would you kill for me like I would kill for you?"

"Wha..."

"Make no mistake my little flower. I'll kill you before I let any man have you. I'll kill you and then I'll kill myself.

As if to show he was making a point, he proceeded to give me a long forceful kiss before laying kisses to my neck and moving lower and lower and lower...

" ROSIE!"

I groaned as I heard Cheyenne's loud and annoying voice disturbing me from such a good dream

"GO AWAY" I yelled back before pulling the pillows over my head.

"No, I won't" she then proceeded to pull the covers and pull the pillow from on top of my head

"Are you having one of your weird wet dreams again?"

"Shut up Chey" I say, finally getting up but not before throwing Cheyenne one of my death glares

"Stop pouting Ro, You asked me to wake you up because you had an important assignment to hand in which you haven't finished. So suck it up, shower and come out and have breakfast. I have a morning shift at the diner because Promiscuous Primrose decided that a night out of drinking and partying was way more important than honoring her times. I hope Andy fires her soon".

I was actually only half listening to Cheyenne but I nodded and gave her a slight smile so that she could leave while I started to get ready. Eventually she took the hint and left while I went to run a bath. While brushing I reflected on my life and I still couldn't believe that I was turning 22 in a few months. So surreal. I was very grateful to have Cheyenne in my life. That girl was basically my savior.

Over the past years, a lot had changed. First of all, I was no longer illegal and that till today is still a mystery. I had been living in the shelter for a month with Cheyenne and suddenly papers just materialized from nowhere. I constantly asked Chey where she got them from but she would say that she had gone back to me and mom's shady apartment and had seen it hidden somewhere but I knew she was lying. I just let it slide because it was obvious she would never tell me the truth. Two, Cheyenne and I had gotten adopted from the shelter and had been taken to a foster home. The people took in kids with no home and basically provided for them so that they could get paid by the government. They had wanted to adopt only Cheyenne but she wouldn't budge without me so they ended up taking both of us because we were a package deal.
