With the others following behind her, Amy looked up ahead to see the door of the room of requirement appearing. As they came through the door Amy saw that the room was equipped with everything a hideout would need. She looked around and saw Gish's father. Gish ran up to him in a big hug.
"What? How?" Gish asked.
"No time to explain. He's coming." Harry replied.
"Who's coming?" Tim asked.
Harry turned to face Tim and stared at him with a very serious expression on his face.
"Your father," Harry explained "Do any of you know why?"
Amy reluctantly raised her hand.
"He's coming to retrieve his horcruxes sir." Amy explained, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Do you know what they are?" Harry asked.
Amy collapsed into Aaron's arms with tears flowing out form her eyes down onto her cheeks.
"We took care of one, Amy's locket," Aaron replied comforting Amy "We know who the other one is."
Amy felt another gush of tears flood out of her eyes as he spoke. Aaron held her in a tight hug, comforting her. Gish and Cassie stared at Amy worriedly, already knowing what Aaron meant.
"Draco says that you have been researching ways to destroy horcruxes," Harry explained "What have you discovered thus far?"
"We found out that there is a counter curse for the horcrux curse. The only thing is the page with the incantation has been torn out in the book we found it in. Voldemort doing probably, erasing any way of anyone destroying them no doubt." Scorpius replied.
"Well, that's unfortunate," a familiar voice added as someone apparated in.
Amy looked up to see Rose's father and mother apparating in side by side.
"Harry the D.A. and the order of the phoenix are on their way. Can you fill us in?" Hermione informed.
"What happened thirty years ago seems to be repeating itself." Harry replied.
Hermione glanced at Amy in Aaron's arms crying.
"You mean she's a-" Ron began to ask.
"Horcrux," Amy interrupted "Yes, I am. I should've told you sooner. You have a right to know."
Harry turned to face Amy, who had now stopped crying.
"You can talk to me about it," Harry offered "If you want to, that is. I do know how you feel right now."
"You don't know how long I have wished I could." Amy replied.
Harry gestured towards a window seat in one corner of the room. Amy started walking over towards it with Harry walking close behind her. The two sat down and began to talk leaving the rest of the group in shock.
"Tell me honestly, Mr. Potter, will I have to die?" Amy asked.
"Unless we find out what the counter curse incantation is, yes. You mustn't lose hope though, after all, it is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness nothing more." Harry replied.
"You just quoted Headmaster Dumbledore, didn't you?" Amy asked with a smile.
Harry thought for a moment and then burst out laughing.
"Yes, yes I did." Harry replied.
Amy felt the castle shake as if there were an earthquake. She looked outside with worried eyes to see hundreds of people marching up to the castle. Amy's eyes flooded with tears as she realized what was happening.
"Amy, listen to me." Harry told her.
"I don't want to do it. I don't want to die." Amy sobbed.
"Do you still have your Resurrection Stone?" Harry asked.
Amy held up her new necklace she had gotten over the summer. The pendant was the Resurrection Stone.
"I keep it with me at all times." Amy explained.
"If it comes to it, use it. That's what helped me stay calm when I was facing Voldemort for what I thought would be the last time." Harry instructed.
Amy nodded as she heard screams coming from downstairs.
"Amy we will go and stall them for as long as we can. There is a bookshelf in that corner with all, brand new, books on horcruxes. Once you find out the incantation come and find me. Do you understand?" Harry instructed.
Amy looked over at Aaron and ran over to him as people started heading out the door to protect and guide the other students to safety. She kissed him on the cheek and held him in a tight embrace.
"Come back to me alive please? If you don't I will destroy the last horcrux myself and I will join you." Amy cried.
"I promise you Amilia Marie Crosswood that you will not have to do that. On my life I promise you that I will stay safe and will come back to you. I promise you to the stars and back that if it does come to that I will be by your side until the very end." Aaron replied.
"Forever?" Amy asked looking up at him.
"Always." Aaron replied.
"You promised. Please, be safe Aaron. I don't want to lose you." Amy said.
"I will I promise. Now I have to go and protect the others. I will see you after all of this is over." Aaron explained as he started to head out the door with his wand in his hand.
"Aaron." Amy called.
"What is it Lemondrop?" Aaron asked as he turned around.
Amy gathered up the strength to say her goodbye.
"I love you." Amy replied.
"I love you to the moon and back." Aaron exclaimed.
Then, Draco came in the doorway.
"Aaron, if you two are done chatting, we could use your help out here." Draco explained.
Aaron waved goodbye to Amy and closed the door behind him as he emerged from the room of requirement.
