North walked into the room.

His steps making slightly boom, boom, boom, noises.

He glanced at Jack Frost who seemed to be lost in thought.

His hood was pulled up over his head.

While he made little frost designs.

"What's the matter Jack?"

Jack turned, startled, it was quite obvious he didn't know he was there.

"I've been thinking about our destinies, our fate, our purpose."

North came closer to Jack.

His voice came to a whisper.

"And what do you think about, Jack?"

He pursed his lips.

"I can control my destiny but not my fate.

Destiny means there are opportunities to the left or right but, fate is a one way street.

I believe we all have the choice as to whether we fulfil our destiny but, our fate is sealed because we have a purpose."

North chuckled.

His belly bounced like Jello.

"Well you came up with an brilliant conclusion, Jack.

And may I ask what made you think about this."

North raised an eyebrow.

"I know Jamie died two years but, I've always thought why did he have to die because of cancer?

I never knew, why him?

But I think I understand now."

North smiled.

"I'm happy for you Jack, you figured that out yourself."

Jack smiled.

He looked out the window.

"I miss you, Jamie."
