Ellie's POV

Grayson and I went and watched a movie. We watched "A quiet place" since we both love horror movies.

The whole theater was so silent. And let me tell you, the movie is not that scary. The only scary part is the nail that was on the floor. (If you have watched the movie, you probably get what I mean haha)

So now we're on our way to the carnival since we still have a lot of time to spare.

"I'm so excited to win some stuffed animals!" I grinned as I look at him.

"You're such a kid" he says as he laugh while he shake his head.

"Rude" I said as I stick my tongue out.

——

"Let's do the water gun game!!" I exclaimed as grabbed his hand and ran to the booth.

"Two water guns please" Grayson said.

"That's would be 3$" the guy said.

Grayson paid for it. Again. I don't really like it when people pay for my things. It makes me feel like i'm using them for money or something.

"I'm gonna win this" I smirked at Gray.

"Hmmm... Game on, Mckay" Grayson grinned as he winked at me.

I blushed while I continued to look at him, not realizing that the game already started.

——

"Ha! I win!" Grayson exclaimed as he put his fist up in the air.

"Fuck off! You totally cheated!" I mumbled and crossed my arms. Let's just say I'm very competitive. I'd do anything just to win.

"I didn't cheat! You just got distracted with my handsome looks, Sweetie" he winked.

"What toy do you want to get?" the guy at the booth asked.

"What do you want?" Grayson looked at me.

I looked at the stuffed toys and one caught my eye.

"The brown bear with the red bow tie" I pointed out.

——

We've been walking around and riding some rides. We noticed that it's getting dark so we walked back to the car.

"Where are we going?" I asked Gray as I cuddled with my Stuffed bear.

"You'll see" Gray replied as he drives through the streets.

After 30 minutes, we arrived on a cliff that shows a beautiful view of the city.

"Come here" Gray leads me to the back of his truck that has pillows and blankets.

My jaw dropped.

"Do you like it?" he questioned as he sat on the blankets.

"I love it, Gray! Thank you" I grinned and sat beside him still holding the bear that he won for me.

——

"Do you want to know why I love looking at the stars?" I asked Gray.

"Why?"

"It makes me realize that no matter how dark your past can be, there will always be a light that will guide you through it all no matter how small the light is." I smiled and hugged my bear.

——

After numerous hours of talking and telling jokes, we finally decided to go home.

"Thank you for today." I smiled.

"I've never had this much fun in my entire life" I continued with a chuckle.

"I'm glad to here that" He replied as he parked in front of my house.

I opened the car door

"Wait!"

I stopped and looked at him. We stared at each other's eyes as he went closer to me and cups my face.

We both leaned in and kissed. I felt fireworks all over my body. Our lips move in sync.

We both pulled apart as I looked directly into his eyes, I saw happiness and a small hint of worry in his eyes. That's strange

I snapped back to reality since I realized that I have been staring at him for a long time.

"Bye Gray! I'll see you at school" I smiled and walked towards my front door.

As I was about to entered my house, I looked behind me and I saw Grayson looking at me as if he was making sure that nothing will happen to me.

He smiled and waved and drove away.

What a night
