there is a recap two updates ago and the only thing that has happened since then is that MC is talking to Seven at a convenience store :)
"Hm? But why Luciel? Are you Christian?" I ask while grabbing a bottle of water off of the shelves and drinking it, I'll pay for it later.
"Yes! I have renewed myself in the eyes of God! Holy Seven, at your service!" He chimes while doing an obnoxious pose in the store, how embarrassing...
A 'Born Again Christian?' Hm. I used to know a guy who was also one, he bragged about being in the Vietnam War and would always make up unbelievable stories. You could never tell him anything personal because he would exploit it and twist your words. And that's why he's no longer around.
I take another sip of the drink,"Wow, that's cool! Did you do some secret-agent work and you're trying to become a better person. I wouldn't doubt it! Agent 707, out on the field!" I try to tease him with the persona that he picks up from me, but my hidden agenda is to make his conscious very guilty.
He gasps and looks very shocked,"How did you know!? My soul mission was to steal all the cats in the world! Cats are so cute, wouldn't you agree?"
That's not the answer I wanted, but this is going to take some time and a lot, a lot , of patience. "Meow! Of course!" I take a large sip of water, out of this never-ending water bottle. I'm currently killing myself just to hope that I can earn his trust later, and of course his personality hasn't changed, at least the basics. He certainly hides things now.
He avoids uncomfortable subjects. He tries to make the situations better with humor. When he wants something, he's sure as hell he'll get it. A bit inconsiderate most of the time, but he'll back off if you really point it out to him. Just tell him what he wants to hear, subtly, and everything is going to be a-okay.
He grasps my hand,"Yes! We should go to a shelter, right meow! We can look at cats and forget everything in the past!" He grabs Honey Buddha Chips and Dr. Pepper while throwing his money at the cashier before bolting out of the store with me. This impulsive behavior is going to be hard to bear...
