A/N: I find re-reading the prologue to Mystic Messenger very tedious. I got very lazy during the first part of this. MC's thoughts are bolded. I apologize for the bland beginning.

Yoosung: Failed my midterms T-T

Seriously? Saeran said that they are dumb but I didn't know it was bad enough to fail one of the biggest tests in a students semester...? Wait... is that Yoosung from yesterday? His picture is almost exactly like his...

707: Cuz you played LOLOL all night lol.

Seven Zero Seven? What an odd username. He looks like the man who bumped into me the other day! Is this all a coincidence??

Jumin Han: If you still want to work for the company, you should consider taking care of your GPA.
Yoosung: I'm still on the list?! +_+
Jumin Han: Yes.
707: Nice~ can't believe you get a job straight out of college. In this day and age!
ZEN: Lame, it's nepotism.

Zen's here too!? What is this? Did Saeran set me up?

Jumin Han: It's called recruitment, actually.
ZEN: It's getting a free pass instead of actually training the worker.
Jumin Han: Whatever. I couldn't care less about what you say.
Zen: What's the difference between recruitment and nepotism?
707: I thought they were the same? O-O
Jumin Han: Its nepotism if you know they aren't of any help.
Yoosung: Oh so you become a candidate for nepotism as soon as you are recruited!?
ZEN: ...
707: WAIT!
Yoosung: Why?
ZEN: ??
707: Think someone entered the chatroom;;
Jumin Han: MC...?
ZEN: Wtf. How did it get in here?
707: HACKER!

It's funny that they're correct. Mint Eye gave me purpose. I help them with whatever they need. It's the least I can do for allowing me to live in paradise.

Yoosung: Hacker?? Theare's a hacker in ouar room!!!
Sevenee! do somethign!!
ZEN: Heh, typos... -_-;;
707: Wait a sec. I'm checking.

Wait how would he check?

Jumin Han: Who are you? Reveal yourself. Hey, Assistant Kang.
Jaehee Kang: Yes I am here

As I start to stare blankly at the screen because of the painfully bland conversation presented before me with a rich dude, an actor, an assistant, a college student, and a hacker - I see something that catches my eye.

Jaehee: I think it would be a good idea to contact V

V? The traitor? No! He can't help you. I haven't seen him, in who knows how long. Will he recognize my name. I never told him my real one but I don't know about the conversations he had with Rika.

707: Yeah, I think that's a good idea.
I'll call and explain everything.
Jumin Han: I can call.
707: Already on it, lol.
ZEN: Fast.

Ugh... this hacker dude. I wonder if he is better than Saeran and I. Probably not, we have savior on our side. As I continue to panic I see yet another thing that catches my eye:

Jumin Han: ...until we figure out who MC is
I don't want to reveal anything.
Jaehee Kang: I agree
707: Wecan
sorrycallingandtypingwithonehand

Oh no...! He's hacking isn't he! There's no personal information on this phone, and the camera is broken. I don't think he find anything about me

707: lookedintoownerofdevice
she'scutelol

How...? And how does he not recognize me. I guess he didn't have his glasses but... I mean. How did he even get that information. He is smarter, but less observant, than I thought.

After more blabbing on and on about random things the traitor decides to show up.

He lies about everything. About him never going to the apartment. About the barely believable suicide story to cover up Rika's disappearance, which is laughable. I wonder how he feels about all this. Does he lie to himself thinking that it's better this way. If only he had come clean, he wouldn't have to face the upcoming storm of destruction I am about to cause. As soon as I 'whole-heartedly' trust V and get accepted into the RFA, I know that this will be fun. This organization has really fallen apart since Rika left. It's quite saddening since she poured so much into this.

(normal again)

Now that I am in Rika's apartment, I can learn more about her,  not that much though. I was surprised that most of her things were gone. Since everyone seems so sad about her 'death' I would've expected them to not be able to move her things. Very few was left behind, most being furniture.

I walked throughout her house and saw the CCTV camera in the hallway and wondered what things it has caught on tape.

I opened my laptop and synced it to the camera feed. It was more difficult than I anticipated it to be, it had a very secure defense system, but nothing too difficult. I skip through the many files of camera feed, one for each day. It only dates back to about six months and they say she has been gone for a almost two years so I do not believe there will be anything of use. I close my laptop and decide to head out once more.

I step foot into a decent looking cafe. With all the cliche things happening around me at cafes and bookstores, I wonder if this place will be the same. As soon as I say this I see the man with white hair, Zen, appears and is walking towards a truck that sells fish-shaped bread. He's in the RFA right? And he's unaware that I am MC, and that I lied about the hacker. How fun would it be for him to figure out that he's known me this entire time. But how would I start the conversation?

I started to approach Zen, without really knowing where this interaction would take us.
"H.. hello? Zen?" I say nervously.

"Yes?" He says and turns around so he can see who he is talking to. "Oh! You're that girl from yesterday! What do you need?"

"I just wanted to apologize for causing such a scene the other day. I also wanted to make up for insulting you and your friends. If I ever see them again I'll ask them the same thing I'm going to ask you: Can I take you to lunch? Not in a romantic way though..." I mutter the last part, but I tried to say this as sweetly as possible so that way he can trust me.

"Actually... I," he takes another look at me. I notice this and try to put on a somewhat of a sad face to guilt trip him,"Well, I don't see why not..."

"Great where do you want to go?" I ask enthusiastically.

"I was thinking something simple, like that cafe across the street." He says, while pointing towards the cafe.

"That works out! I was on my laptop and my things are already in there. We should get going before anyone takes our table." Infiltrating the RFA will be easy if all of them are craving support and attention like this.

-
We both sit down at my table which I quickly clean so that way we can both become more comfortable.

"So..." he starts.
