♡ chapter 4 : the news ♡
The next morning :
I was sitting on the couch, sipping on my tea. Then, the doorbell rang, so I stood up and opened the door. Garroth was standing there with a small gift bag and I let him in. I guided him towards Lucinda's office and I knocked on the door.
"Come in, Aph~!" I heard Lucinda shouting.
I entered the room with Garroth following me behind. I saw Lucinda sitting at her desk with a book and a magic ball in front of her.
"Aphmau. Garroth. Please sit down." Lucinda said.
Garroth and I sat down on the chairs in front of her desk.
"Okay. From what Aphmau said and what my cousin texted her, you both are under the spell of the love spirits. It's a spell that my cousin actually made to help soulmates to find out they're soulmates." Lucinda explained. "So, apparently, you guys are soulmates!" She giggled.
"We know that." Garroth and I said in the same time. We both looked at each other and laughed.
"Eek~! You both are so adorable~!" Lucinda fangirled.
"But how do we undo the spell though?" I asked.
"Simple. Fall in love with each other, of course." She responded.
I blushed, looking at the floor. What the heck. Is that really how to undo it? I think I like him... But I just met him like two days ago!
"So, I suggest you guys to start dating to make things easier. Like, go on a date this weekend!" Lucinda suggested. "Although today is Sunday..." She mumbled to herself. "But anyways, you guys need to tell this to other people you're close to so they can know what's going with you at night."
"Right. Should we have a small reunion in the house?" I questioned.
Lucinda shrugged. Then, I looked at Garroth and he was looking away from me with his hands on his cheeks.
"Alright. Everyone is home so I'll call them down later." I said.
Then, Garroth removed his hands off of his face and took out his phone. "I'll call my friends over." He stood up and walked outside the room.
I sighed. This is really happening... I don't think I'm ready to fall in love again. But if it makes my life normal again...
"Hey Aph, you don't have to rush it." Lucinda smiled. "Take your time. Love shouldn't be rushed."
"Thanks Luci." I said.
"By the way, do you think that light brown haired cutie will come?" She questioned with a smirk.
"Lucinda!" I exclaimed.
"Oopsie daisy~ He's pretty cute, you can't deny it~" She wiggled her eyebrows.
"Fineee! He is cute or whatever. He's a singer anyways." I rolled my eyes. "But bitch, you have a boyfriend!" I exclaimed.
"I know, hoe. Ivan is my cute ass dumpling forever~!" She giggled. "And soon you'll have that blondie as your boyfriend!"
I blushed. Then, the door opened and Garroth entered the room.
"They can come this evening, is that okay?" Garroth asked.
"Yeah, yeah, we can order pizza." Lucinda said. "Well, going on, get out of my office you lovebirds!"
I placed my hand on my face to hide the fact I was blushing. I quickly stood up and walked out of Lucinda's office with Garroth following behind. I jumped onto the couch and laid down. Garroth sat next to my head.
