//2 years later\\
You were preparing breakfast in the kitchen while your 2 year old son, Enji, was supposedly watching the morning Cartoons. You had your back turned; you finished up breakfast in your small kitchen and began serving up Enji's portion. You called for him but he didn't come running in like normal, you called for him a second time but you didn't get the response you normally get, "won mom-nt mama" (you always laugh at the fact that he can't always say his e's). You waited and then called a third time, and with no response you paniced and began to search every corner of the apartment.
Not in front of the television, not in his bedroom, not in the bathroom, not in your study/library, which only left your bedroom. You opened the door slowly and saw him kneeling on your bed and looking out the closed window at the busy streets below. Quirks still aren't all that common but you could tell the normal from the quirky (even if they looked normal).
Enji looked out the window in awe, "They look lik aunts." You laughed and opened the door wider.
"That's the wrong ant Enji." You smiled.
He turned and sat down on your bed tilting his head confused. You grabbed a pen and a notebook and sat down next to him. You opened the notebook to a blank page and wrote down the kanji for "ari" (ant) and "oba" (aunt).
"You said aunt which would be my sister, if I had one, she would be classified as your aunt. You ment to call everyone ants which are the little tiny insects that crawl on the ground and carry more then their weight." You watched as his face lit up.
"They carry mor than they why."
"Weigh."
"Why."
"W-eh-y."
"W-eh-y...weigh. WEIGH!"
You applauded him on his efforts. You stood up and looks down at your son and then smiled. "Time for breakfast." You watched as he jumped up from the bed and ran out your bedroom into the living room and sat down infront of the boxed television. You walked closely behind to you make sure to catch him if he trips again.
