Gay but Straight Werewolf?

Yesterday was a smooth day, Chris, Kristy and I went into the classroom after I bumped into Ms. Kim. The statement about a female teacher being sexy  might get people to question if I am bi or not. And no offense to some of these ignorant people that know of nothing about the LGBT community but it is okay for gay guys to find females attractive. Just like it is okay for females to find other females attractive even if they are straight, heterosexual or whatever floats your boat. And yes I find Kristy attractive as well. Thank goodness I am gay because I am not trying to cause trouble and date Kristy.  

 

Anyways as I was explainin yesterday’s events, we were too busy bickering and making fun of one another to pay close attention in class, for we always sit near the window in the back and were joined by our other two friends, Amy and Jack (the ones that are dating and currently “fighting”), who have class with us. We caused a disturbance so we were sent to in-school detention where we goofed off some more.

 

Of course in-school detention was not on our records. We made an agreement with the principal, Dr. James, that as long as we made good grades through homework, tests and quizzes, then we could hang out our own separate in-school detention which we called the “Jail Free Zone”. School work was not challenging for us and since our school has a low budget, we did not have elite classes and therefore as long as we showed up and did well on our marks, we were free to do whatever we wanted.

 

Yesterday we planned on staying in class, so we did not prepare anything to do in the Jail Free Zone, so we were slightly bored. Today however we are up to something legendary.   

 

“So how are we going to get the water balloons on top of the bleachers without anyone noticing that we are gone for the day”, Amy asks unsure if our plan would work. She was always a worrisome friend. She can be a daredevil but she absolutely had to make sure the plan was perfect with plans A, B, C, D and E if anything went wrong.

 

“Really Amy, are we going to go over every single detail. Can’t you just be a bit more spontaneous?” Jack sighs. Now Jack is normally spontaneous and full of surprises which is why yesterday was surprisingly boring because he usually comes up with something for us to do. However the fight with Amy took a toll on his creative spontaneous ideas and plans.

 

Why the two bothered dating with their polar opposite personalities, well the answer is because they are mates. So even if they bicker they still love each other, that fact is clear amongst all that are in their presence because right now, if you saw the way they glance at each other from across the head seats of a six-seated table in the middle of the room, then you could see the look of people in love. I sigh because I am still waiting to find out who my mate is.

 

“Well I think that we need to hurry up with a plan before we all get found out”, I interrupt their sweet moment out of jealousy.

 

Once everybody knew what the plan is, we disperse into our designated areas. I am to cover the hallway closest to the exit and make sure that no one of authority would ruin our plan. Becoming bored with my task of standing in the hallway alone, I decide to play some tricks on the teachers.    

 

Just as I am about to mess with the ninth grade English teacher, Chris comes walking down the hall carrying a bucket full of water balloons. I sigh at the fact that I would not have the thrill of almost getting caught but instantly became elated when I thought of a plan to hang with Chris more.

 

I walk up to him and took a handle of the bucket into my own hands. Chris did not let go so our hands were touching as we carried the bucket down the hall towards the exit doors.

 

“You really don’t have to”, Chris starts.

 

“But I’m bored and I want to”, I reply with nothing else to say.

 

“When you get a girlfriend, you can do stuff like this. I’m a man so I’m fine. Vampires are strong too. Thanks for the concern though bro”, Chris responds.

 

I inwardly groan. Having a crush on your male best friend is a harsh reality.

 

“Dude I want to help. Think of it as one bro helping another”, I slightly cringe at my statement.

 

“Fine, you win. Don’t let Kristy see though. Can’t have her thinking her boyfriend is weak”, Chris states looking over at me to show how serious he is.

 

With that blow to my chest, I drop my hands from the bucket and stood still while he continues to walk to the exit.

 

“I forgot that I had to be hallway monitor”, I state and walk towards the ninth grade English class without a backward glance.

 

“Thanks for understanding. See you outside”, Chris yells and immediately I hear the sound of the door opening and closing so swiftly. Based on the sound, it sounds like Chris decides to use his Vampire speed to get out of the hallway quicker.

I sigh and before I can swallow in the pity I want to drown myself in, I take a deep breather and start on my prank on the teacher to distract my mind from the previous conversation.
