Chapter 2- The X-factor

July 10 2010- The day of the X-factor

Louis's POV

       I started to pace back-stage beginning to get really nervous, when I felt a hand on my back, when I turned around to see Fiona smiling at me.  "Boo you look really sweaty and nervous."  She handed me a bottle of water which I chugged at least a quarter of it.  "Fee I don't think this was such a good idea any more.  What if I humiliate myself in front of everyone?"  She placed a hand on my cheek.  "Louis, your an amazing singer.  You shouldn't be worrying.  Remember Grease? "  I felt the sweat drip down my face.  She lifted her sleeve to clear my forehead.  "You promise no matter what happens you'll be there for me when I get off stage?"  she laughed.  "Louis, no matter what happens I promise that I'll be waiting for you when you get off stage."  I wrapped my arms tightly around her, inhaling her sweet aroma.  "Thanks."  I breathed.

        She pulled back she moved her hand to move my hair out of my eyes and smiled.  "Sorry to disturb you two lovers but you have 2minutes until you go on."  Ant said with a cheeky grin on his face.  I looked over to Fiona who looked mortified.  "We're not dating!" we both exclaimed in unison.  "If you say so." Dec said with an even cheekier grin.  "We're just really good friends." she said with a shy smile on her face.  My heart started to sink and break into two.   She always said this but I'm still not use to it. 

Fiona's POV

       "If you say so." Dec said with an even cheekier grin.  "We're just really good friends."I  said with a shy smile on my face.  I looked over to Louis who's smile had now faded and his expression unreadable.  "Louis is everything ok-.."  Ant cut me short.  "It's time."  he looked over to me with a shaky smile.  I gave one last hug.  "Break a leg." I winked at him. He just laughed nervously.  He walked on the stage, slowly and kept looking back.  Once he got to the middle of the stage, Louis (the judge) asked him "What's your name?" . he was shifting from foot to foot.  "My name is Louis Tomlinson."  I walked over to the backstage t.v to watch it with Jay and his four sisters.  "Off you go."  

        The music started and I held my breath as he started. Oh God.  He went off a bit but other then that it was perfect....

         He finished, breathing out heavily, as the crowd erupted into cheers.  "Okay, Louis yes or no?" Simon asked very impatiently.  "Louis I'm saying yes." 

"I'm saying yes." Nicole Scherzinger

"Thanks so much." Louis smiled brightly

"You've got three yes's " Simon said and the crowd erupted into cheers.  "Thank you so much!" Louis ran off stage..  I was so proud of him.  Jay and his sisters were all cheering.  He ran straight to me nearly knocking me over at the impact..  "I'm through Fee.  I've done it."  he wrapped his hands around me.  "I'm so proud of you Boo-Bear.  I promise I'll be behind you every step of the way."
