"Okay kids, I just want to say it's been a fantastic year with all of you and I hope to see you all next year." Teresa Torreno, the music teacher smiled at her class. The bell then rang as she waved one last time towards her students before everyone followed each other out the door accept Adrienne who walked up to Ms. Torreno's desk. Trey gave the girl a weird look before slowly making his way out of the door, waiting for the two to have their talk.
"Ms. Torreno, I just want to thank you so much for all that you've done for me this year. I wouldn't have even realized I wanted to be a singer if it wasn't for you." Adrienne smiled.
"Adrienne, I don't believe that one bit. I think you would've found your passion one way or another but you're welcome." Ms. Torreno pulled her young student into a hug before pulling away.
"See you next year!" Adrienne beamed as she made her way out the classroom door towards a impatient looking Trey. The boy smiled as he saw her walk up.
"Ready?" He asked as the girl nodded as they made their way towards the cafeteria.
They made there way towards the familiar table filled with the other five of their friends; Trent Pierson, Brooklyn Parker, Greyson Reilly, Sierra Hayden, and lastly Sawyer Hayden.
"Sorry we're late, this one was bidding a farewell to farewell to Ms. Torreno." Trey addressed towards the girl who stood next to him.
"Hey! in my defense, she is my favorite teacher," Adrienne defended as she put her hands up.
"Oh really, we all thought you were just making out in the janitors closet or something." Trent suggested as everyone began laughing while Adrienne rolled her eyes nervously and sat next to Brooklyn as Trey shot a glare towards Trent then sitting beside Sawyer.
"I can't believe this years gone by so fast, it feels like just yesterday we were all terrified to start our first year of high school," Sierra laughed as Trent scoffed.
"I wasn't scared, I was ready to see all these babes," Trent winked over at a group of juniors as they all scoffed before looking away as the group laughed.
"Oh ha-ha," Trent mocked as the laughter died down.
"So, a little bird told me that The Physic Rockets are playing here in two weeks," Trey smirked as Adrienne froze with a sandwich half way to her mouth before placing it back down.
"You're lying!" She screamed as everyone in the cafeteria turned to look at her. "You can look away now," she shooed all the eyes that were on her as she rolled her eyes before turning back to the group.
"Okay, But are you being serious?" Adrienne lowered her voice this time as Trey nodded.
"Yep, next Friday night," he beamed. "The only thing is, I don't know where to get tickets," Trey shrugged as Adrienne sunk a little.
"Oh, I got that, I know a guy," Trent smirked.
"Wait, But the Gala's that night, Brooklyn, Jenny's babysitting Emily and Katy remember?" Adrienne brought up.
"So what we'll just have to sneak out then," Brooklyn shrugged.
"Since when did you get worried about sneaking out? We've already done it many times, and plus I'm gonna have to sneak out too," Trey joked as he nudged Adrienne.
"I'm not it's just- nvm," Adrienne stuttered.
"Anyways, so who's in?" Trey asked.
Everyone raised they're hand accept for Sierra and Sawyer. "We can't, we're going to our cousins for the summer," Sawyer explained.
"Wait like the whole summer?" Adrienne asked as the two nodded.
"And you weren't gonna tell us?" Brooklyn questioned hurt.
"We were gonna, but we we're kinda dreading it..." Sierra led off.
"So, when are you leaving?" Adrienne interrupted.
"Tuesday," Sierra mumbled.
"Bummer," Trent spoke sadly.
"Hey, well we still have 3 days plus the rest of today, we." Trey attempted to lighten the mood.
