Adrienne opened her dark green eyes, being blinded by the bright sunlight coming through the side window that she forgot to close last night. She picked up her phone from the nightstand to reveal four new notifications:
[11:23am] Lola: 6 new images
She opened Lola's message to reveal 6 images; one of Emily and herself hugging at the jail, the group photo from the club with Trey sneakily kissing her cheek, a photo of Adrienne by herself as was softly touching her cheek from where Trey kissed moments before, the photo of Trey and her leaning in in the extra kitchen storage room, and the last picture was of Brooke and I, both of our eyes were closer as my head was leaning on her shoulder and we each had an earbud in. The young brunette smiled before texting Lola a 'thank you' and then saving all of the pictures to her gallery.
After that, she went onto the text message from Brooklyn:
[12:39pm] Brooklyn: 1 new image [12:40pm] Brooklyn: I'm sorry I just couldn't help myself ;)
Adrienne opened Brooklyn's message to reveal a picture of Trey and herself kissing just before Adrienne pulled away. It was the perfect timing to take the photo with his hands around her waist and her arms around his neck. She wondered how either of them never saw Brooklyn as she took the picture with flash on. She saved the picture and set it to her lock screen.
Adrienne quickly texted her a 'thank you' before lastly going into the conversation from Trey:
[11:58am] Trey: I just wanted to tell you, that kiss was amazing
[1:28pm] Adrienne: I can second that ;)
[1:28pm] Trey: wow, someone slept in late
[1:29pm] Adrienne: you know how much I like my sleep
[1:33pm] Trey: anyways, since you're awake now, I wanted to ask you would you mind going to the movies with me tomorrow at six?
[1:34pm] Adrienne: as in just us two? Not with the group?
[1:35pm] Trey: just us two, so are you in?
[1:35pm] Adrienne: I'm in, so what movie?
[1:36pm] Trey: Alright great, and umm what about the new 'fazed' movie?
[1:37pm] Adrienne: I've been wanting to see it since the trailers came out
[1:39pm] Trey: Great, well just be ready by five-thirty Tomorrow
The next day rolled around quickly as there was a knock on the door as Donna opens it, "oh hello Trey, are you here for Adrienne?" She asks stepping aside to let the boy in.
"Yeah, we're going to the movies," the young teen told her.
"Oh, so who else is going?" She questioned as Trey started to look around awkwardly.
"Umm... no one, just Adrienne and I," he answered as Katy came down the stairs.
"Yeah mom, they're going on a date!" Katy explained rather loudly.
"It's finally time you two got together." Donna smirked at the poor blushing boy.
Just then Adrienne makes her way down stairs finally noticing her mother and Trey stood in front of the door.
"Mother, stop bothering him," she scolded her mother before continuing, "let's go Trey." She grabbed his arm as they made their way out of the house.
The two made their way to the movie theater as they got in line to buy their tickets. Trey looked over to see Adrienne taking out her wallet. Before she could open it up to retrieve the money, Trey quickly snatched it from her hands as he walked up to the lady.
"Two tickets to 'Fazed' 4 o'clock," Trey told the lady as she started typing into her computer.
"That will be twenty dollars," commanded the lady as Trey quickly gave her his twenty as Adrienne was still trying to get back her wallet from the boy.
The lady gave Trey their tickets as he thanked her before walking in. Adrienne huffed as she made her way towards the snack section.
While they were waiting in line, Adrienne suddenly remembered that she never answered her best friend as she quickly took out her phone before replying to the text:
[2:12pm] Brooklyn: umm.. why am I just finding out that you're going on a date with Trey? And why did I have to find out from Trent?
[3:47pm] Adrienne: I'm so sorry it was kinda all so sudden, will you forgive me if I tell you how it goes after?
[3:47pm] Brooklyn: Deal but you better buy me some Takis!
[3:47pm] Adrienne: I can agree to that
Trey leaned over her shoulder as shut off her phone before he grabbed it from her hands.
"Okay, what's the deal with you snatching my stuff?" The young girl huffed as she didn't even try to get back her phone.
Trey ignored her question as he kept looking at the screen in front of him. "I like your wallpaper," he winked over to her as she blushed before he continued. "No seriously," he finished as he unlocked her phone before quickly sending the picture to himself.
Adrienne quickly paid for their food as they made their way into the theater, going to the top row.
During the movie, Adrienne smiled as glanced over at the Trey to see him laughing at something from the movie. She glanced back towards the screen while thinking, 'last night changed my whole life'.
