I was feeling low when I got into the car that would drive me away from all that I knew and loved to a completely different world. I had occasionally been to my dads place but had never considered living there. My first trauma was my parents separating and now a dead mother. The only comfort was that I was going to see my brother more often. I was still a minor at fifteen years and did not have a driving license yet. I closed my eyes to shut out the tears that threatened to fall down my cheeks. I knew it would never be the same as I watched the trees rush by.

"dady,"I rushed into Luke Hamiltons open arms. He had a passion for animals and his house was near a forest. I used to love playing there with my brother when I was younger. Zack who was my brother was at school and wouldn't be coming around for some time.
"honey you are home welcome,"he said to me and I felt reassurance.
I continued with my crying as he whispered sorries into my ears. When the tears could not come anymore, I went to my room and slept, clothes and all. Maybe it would be better the next day. I slept a dreamless sleep. The next morning my dad took no breakfast and told me what to do and he was off to work. It didn't help much that the house was filled with sweet memories about my past and so I decided to just walk outside. Billy the good old loyal golden retriever we had was still surprisingly alive. I knew him since I was young. I shrugged into my jacket, put on shoes and locked up. I walked in the direction of the bridge. For some reason it felt like I belonged here, like I was always meant to be here. When I reached the bridge I leaned on the rails and watched the lazy river slip by. Faithful Billy sat by my side happily wagging his tail. This river was situated in the middle of lovers camp. It was mostly calm and was a beautiful sight. The park was green as was with most of the town. But this same river Dark waters would sometimes be filled with angry raging waters which could easily pull an oak by its roots. There was something around town that it is called Dark waters because the ancestors punish people using it's waters
