A month later Collins and I were good friends . Him and Shawn were another story and he made it worse by always being around and hitting on me. He simply drove Shawn mad. So we were sitting around a table in a cafe. Jess, Frank, Collins, Shawn and i were talking coffee because it was raining outside. But there was something odd,Shawn hadn't touched his. Bored to death i suggest a game that left my two friends hating each other as hell that is Shawn and Collins. " Am bored, let's play truth and dare ," at typical me suggested. The guys were up to it. Anything for fun they said. We asked stupid question and did stupid dares  . We were laughing and having as much as one could have on a rainy day until Frank dumbly said i should kiss Collins , after all i wasn't seeing anyone so what harm  would it have  done it was just a game but i didn't realize what it has turned into. So i slipped onto Collins laps and kissed him easily. But then he got inside my head," You're the last of our people and the only one who received the power of the earth,the power of the water,the power of air and the power of the desert animals. You stand to be the only one who all animals will protect regardless of their difference. You stand to be the only one who can protect the realm of light where all animal spirits take from.
Protect your people,beware of the vampires they are looming  and need your blood to be able to get into the realm of light. There will be war in the upper world where all supernatural beings can meet and earth will be the worst hurt. The sooner you understand this the better . Your powers  lies inside of you. I couldn't use telepathy at a distance because the vampires can smell it and know that you're back home where it all started," I knew it was Collins in my head as much as i know his voice. Somewhere in my heart i knew what he had said was true but it was way to sick to believe. Animals, spirits? Who the heck would believe that. I pulled away from him and searched his eyes and the seemed genuine. " Don't go kissing him again," Shawn whispered in my ear which sent me giggling. He gave me a puzzled look. Somehow we went on with our game and chatted here and there until the rain stopped. Without noticing what had built between Shawn and Collins. I asked Shawn to drive me home not because I couldn't go with Jess and Frank but because i wanted some time alone with him. On our way there he pulled up against a tree. There was a mixture of feelings on his face that i couldn't quite tell. " Am going to be seventeen all my life, " He said in a frustrated voice. " Then I'll also be sixteen,' i said dramatically so as to raise his spirit but i didn't help much " You don't get it  do you , am the world's best predator," He said his eyes boring holes through my head. " What do you mean?" I asked. " Am a bloody vampire and i hate to admit it that when i first spoke to you i was after your blood," He said this without directly looking me into my eyes. His hands were tight around the steering wheel and I could tell he had held his breath. When he looked at me his eyes were  glowing and his blooming lungs were elongated. First a look of fear touched my face but it was immediately replaced by  that of desire.
I unbuckled my seat  belt and moved closer to him. 
I hated  vampires  with my whole being but he had a different quality about him, but because i could sense his aura was not dark but rather tainted I got close to his face so that i was breathing into it. I saw his nose twitch and i knew this would either be death for me or life. I placed my hands on his face and leaned in and placed my lips on his. His body was tense but he relaxed with every second. " You are different, i can sense  that."
I said while trying to catch my breath. I moved my whole body so that i was sitting on his lap. " I don't care anymore, because am hopelessly in love with you if you hadn't realized that yet," I whispered. His eyes were glowing more and sweat smell filled the car. I knew i was pushing him over the edge the same way i knew he was dangerous but i didn't care he grabbed hold of my head and pulled my hair back then he dug his fangs in my neck. He'd done so fast i had to gasp for air, the sensation of the pain and desire was one beautiful feeling. He has my blood now in him. I liked the feeling of him sucking at my neck but if didn't stop he would kill me just like my mother was. That thought made me grow cold, every response in my body was now gone. I turned bitter and started crying and hitting him.
He withdrew from me and the glow in his eyes was gradually fading. He held my hands as my eyes brimmed over with tears. "
Am sorry i didn't wanna hurt you," He said almost in tears. " Your kind killed my mom in cold blood ," I couldn't stop myself from rushing out. "Hell, i didn't know am sorry,i couldn't control myself you just smelled too good ," He said. Sorry something else was making me go over my hurt real quick, something in the words in my hand. Something about Shawn . I suddenly wanted to have him. I suddenly craved for my people freedom which was totally absurd. " Am sorry," I said to him and wiped the tears from his eyes. " I kinda of liked it though," I said as i pointed at the marks on my neck. " You know you shouldn't be this close to me," He breathed. " I could kill you," I feigned a look of shock and fear. " Oh am so scared," I whispered. "Now where were we before i interrupted us. A smile crossed his face and a glow was beginning to collect in his eyes . " You really are into danger," He whispered in my ear so that i shivered with excitement all over.
" I forgot to say,my kind need your blood to open the realm of light  and wage war against the supernaturals of light ," He said seriously. Seems everyone around me was going nuts but i decided to ask Luke later on." The son? It doesn't affect you yet you are a child of the night why?" I asked curiously. " This ring  wraps a protective layer about us," He said as he moved his left hand which was on my back to show me. It sent shivers through my body and i thought to myself that one more kiss wouldn't hurt which was what i did.
