Chapter eleven
It took some time before Jungkook agreed to go back down to the rooms. Tae didn't rush him.
They were hoping to get down without being seen.
But of course, that didn't happen. Halfway down the hallway they spotted Jimin.
Jimin looked at the two of them and quickly decided to turn around and walk back to where he came from.
"Wait." Jungkook said.
Jimin shrugged his shoulders up like a caught toddler. He turned around slowly to look at Jungkook.
If he's being honest, he's a bit surprised Jungkook said anything to him. He would've thought Jungkook would start bawling just at the sight of him.
Taehyung rubbed Jungkook's back, encouraging him to go on with whatever it was he wanted to do; while also prepared to hold Jungkook back if he decided he wanted to start punching Jimin.
"We should probably talk. Get it out of the way I mean." Jungkook stated rubbing his neck anxiously.
Jimin only nodded.
Jungkook looked at Tae and smiled reassuringly. Jungkook walked forwards towards Jimin, who turned around and walked next to him. They walked into their room and shut the door.
"Listen, I'm sorry! I know I was wrong and mean and an——"
"Don't apologize Jiminie" Jungkook cut in.
"I mean you were an asshole but it happened and it's over now and I don't want to be mad at you for it anymore."
Jungkook walked past Jimin and sat on the bed.
"You're my best friend and even though all that bullshit happened I still want to be able to talk to you about normal stuff. I want to have a normal conversation and laugh with you."
Instead of verbally responding Jimin moved to sit next to Jungkook.
Jungkook pauses for a moment before saying—
"Taehyung said he wants to take me on a date."
"Really? That's great." Jimin said hesitantly. Was it great? Is Jungkook excited or upset about this?
That question was soon answered when Jungkook looked up grinning.
"Do you think I should go out with him?"
"I mean, you make a really cute couple and—"
"And what Jimin?" Jungkook squinted
"Nothing. He's just, like, total daddy material"
Jungkook twisted behind him and grabbed a pillow. He swung it against Jimins head.
"Hey! It's true!" Jimin defended
"Back off! You have Yoongi hyung!"
They both laughed.
"How are you doing with Yoongi anyway?"
"Let me tell you one thing Kookie— our Yoongi hyung is a sex GOD"
The two laughed and carried on for almost an hour in their room; gossiping about Taehyung and Yoongi.
