I opened up Spotify and started listening to my favorite band, 'Why Don't We' while browsing my very inactive Instagram feed and slouching on the couch.
BUT THEN, all of a sudden..

The door to my apartment swings open with a very worn-out looking Evee and Rachel.
"What the heck are you guys doing here?" I said with the slightest smile
"LOOK. WHAT. THEY. POSTED!!" Evee shouted at me, almost as if she thought I was a mile away.
"'They'? What do you mean?" I asked scooting over to my best friends as they came over very excitedly to the couch.
"WHY DON'T WE, DUH!" Rachel said, looking over Evee's shoulder as her eyes bulged out of her head, carefully watching the screen of Evee's phone.
"Oh, ok." I went back to listening to mah babes
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'oh, ok'?! THEY LITERALLY JUST ANNOUNCED THEIR NEW SONGGGG!!" Evee yelled, almost as if she were mad
"WAIT, WHAT?!"
Now I was interested
"LOOK," Rachel pointed to Evee's phone:

"Can we just take a moment to admire how good Jack looks in this," Evee mumbled just loud enough for me to hear.
But I was too excited to agree.
"OMGGG REALLY?!?!" At this point, all three of us were bouncing with excitement
"YES, REALLY!!" Evee screamed at the top of her lungs. Her voice was really, REALLY high pitched..
"Omg. We HAVE to do a cover of this!" I offered
"Laur, we haven't even listened to it yet."
"YEAH BUT I ALREADY KNOW IT'S GONNA BE AMAZING SO WE'RE GONNA DO A COVER OF IT, OK?" I said, very confident in myself.
"Ok, ok. It's not like we're gonna get noticed by them, though," Rachel said making her way to the kitchen.
"Meh. Think positive though! There are always possibilities," I said as Evee followed Rachel.
"Ok, whatever you say," Rachel said sarcastically.
