Its Over

I watched as the crowded room of different families were hugging and smiling at each other. Blankets and pillows, first aid kit you name it, were all around.

Yes, everything was over no more dinosaurs. At least I hope.

In the distance I spotted Zach and Gray in the middle of the room. Zach sitting next to Claire and Gray resting in her lap.

Zach gained sight of me and said something to his aunt. Then he started walking over to me. I smiled as we made eye contact.

"Hey" he breathed out "Are you ok? No scratches, bruises, broken bones?"

"Just a few screeches and bruises but not broken bones." I giggled a bit.

"You know you were pretty brave out there, and just so you know I thought it was pretty hot." Zach said with a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

"Oh really" I spoke back pulling him by his jacket so that out foreheads were resting together."Then I guess we'll just have to go on more nerve racking adventures wont we?"

There was a moment of silence between us until we both started giggling. Just then we both look straight at each other

I melted at the sight of his deep chocolate brown eyes. Just when I though things were going great, it got even better.

Zach leaned in and placed us aloft pink lips against my own. The kiss was something, I had never felt before. It left me wanting more, but he pulled away but not before giving a slight peck.

My smile was so big I probably look hilarious. But he had a grin from ear to ear as well. That's when he was called by his parents.

I watched him walk away back to his family. All of them hugging and sharing relived smiles with one another.

I decided to go get some fresh air when I came across Owen. "Hey big bro, how ya holdin' up?" I asked feeling concerned for me brother.

" I guess I'll be fine, it sad to see him go though." Owen said sadly. Knowing exactly what he was talking about. Blue.

"Don't worry Blue's a tough girl, she'll be fine." I said as I placed a hand on Owen's back rubbing small circles.

He gave me a reassuring smile. As I turned around I found Claire 2atching in the distance. So I took a few steps back and let her fill in the space.

I went back to Zach and we intertwined our finger together and walked out to the dock. We gazed out at the horizon just about to rise.

"You promise you'll keep in touch?" I asked Zach looking out at the beautiful sight in front of me. "Of course I will, I promise." He said look at me fully now. I turned my head and  gave him a big hug.

"I'll miss you Zach."

"I'll miss you to beautiful."
