"Beep. Beep. Beep."
I roll over and slam the snooze button.
I continue doing this until I have no choice but to get up.
I get dressed and brush my teeth. I stare at my reflection. My dirty blonde hair flows down to a little past my shoulder. My green eyes shine today. I have on a blue aero sweat shirt and skinny jeans. To finish it, I'm wearing my black tennis shoes.
I walk downstairs and realize I don't have time for breakfast. I quickly grab my blue water bottle and my blue back pack.
My favorite color is yellow.
I run to the bus stop where I meet my sister. She is my twin sister but we look nothing a like. She has short brown hair and she is wearing a dressy top and leggings. Emma gets all of the guys. I'm kind of in her shadow. We still have an unbreakable bond. I don't know what I would do without her.
"You're late, Heather." she says looking up at me from her phone.
"Not all of us were blessed with being morning people." I say fake smiling.
She rolls her eyes and laughs.
The bus finally comes and we get on.
When the bus finally arrives at school, I walk in to meet up with my best friend Claire. She's standing at my locker waiting for me. I walk over to her.
"Hey, what's up?" I say.
"Hey, nothing much. Our lockers are right next to each other!" she squeals.
I squeal back.
I was so glad because last year my locker was next to... Zach's. He's super gross and inappropriate.
"Did you hear about the new student. I think he's name is Hunter." she says while I put my school supplies in my locker.
"No I didn't. I see what you're doing though. You want to set me up with him." I say shutting my locker. "And speaking of boys." I say as Claire's boyfriend comes up to her. "Hi Aaron." I add.
He does that cute thing where he hugs her from behind. He has curly brunette hair and blue eyes. She also has curly brunette hair but brown eyes.
The first bell rings. We say our goodbyes and I watch them walk away. I was a little jealous. I quickly shake the feeling away. I turn around to go to social studies but I bump into someone and I fall.
I scramble to get up but the person I ran into was very quick and helped me up.
I guess you could say we had a moment.
However, I don't know if it was a moment. I've never been in love. Yes, I know, a 17 year old who hasn't had a real relationship, lame.
"I'm sorry. I'm new and well, lost." a deep voice says.
I look up at him to tell him it's okay but I'm greeted with blue eyes and blonde curly hair with some brunette much similar to my own.
"It's o-okay." I stutter.
He grins a little.
"Could you actually show me to social studies?" he asks.
"S-sure. I'm going there too." I manage to say.
"Great." he says.
"Great." I say.
Really Heather.
We walk to social studies.
"Wait." he says.
I turn back and walk towards him.
"What's your name?" he asks.
"Heather." I say.
"I'm Hunter." he says.
I nod and walk back into the class and he follows close behind.
I hate social studies so this chapter was my way of making it seem less sucky 😂
