I rolled out of bed at 2:30 am, hit the alarm clock so it would shut up. I groan and walk to my closet and find some clothes to wear on my first day, I want to be respected and come off as confident and feminine and sexy.

I walk into the garage in my building and jump in my car pull out and drive to the White House. I pull into the service entrance and park my car in the spot that's labeled POTAS bodyguard.
I grab my purse form the seat and place it on my lap I put my head on the wheel and take a deep breath.
A knock on my window pulls me to attention and pull my hand out of my purse and suddenly I have a gun aimed at a strangers head.
The man's hands up in surrender "Whoa, whoa don't shoot I'm just looking for Miss Summers, Miss Scarlett Summers, I was told to bring you to the Cheif Of Security office for a badge to be in the building and to get a tour now please put the gun down."
I nod my head and put my gun back into my purse and take the keys out of my Audi and put them in my bag pulled my door open and get out the man put his hand out to shake.
"Mark Danon" I take his hand and shake it "Summers, Scarlett Summers." he nods and he shows me a direction and we start walking into the white house. We walk in and it's bustling everyone is doing something somewhere I look to Mark
"Did I miss the fun?" He lets out a chuckle "We're all trying to set up our offices before tomorrow." I look him " It's been less than 24 hours since he was inaugurated" he nods. "The White House never stops."
I nod and we walk the rest of the way to an office on the upstairs of the white house. We walk into an office and I see a bald man with his back to me.

I give him smile and give him a powerful shake "Scarlett Summers, its good to meet you" He nods and looks to Mark "Thank you, you can"
Mark nods gives me a smile then walks out of the room Mr. Randle looks to me and gestures to the couch and we sit down and he looks at me
"Well Scarlett, can I call you Scarlett?" I nodded "You have been hired to protect the POTUS thus by extension his family, so obviously Ethan Kingdom, but also Kate Kingdom the First Lady, Liam Kingdom the First Son, he's 20, the twins Sabrina and Sabina Kingdom there 8, and finally Kane Kingdom he's 4 months. They became the First Family of the free world less than 24 hours ago, and they need to be protected and with your background in the Marines, you can help us protect them."
I nod and give him a smile he looks back at my eye. "Well, let's give you the grand tour, huh?" I nod and we get up from the couch and walk out of the office." Well here is my office and Mark's, lets go downstairs" I nod and he gives me a full tour we make a long stop at HR and I get my badge and another gun
(this makes me and Griffon let out a small laugh when I replace guns on my belt and place it in my purse) by the time we've landed in the west wing its already 7:30 and the first family is standing in the oval office when we walk in I see the president and I go to attention.
Griffin clears his through and they whip around, the woman holding baby and the en holding a young girl. "Hello, Mr. Persident," Griffin said with a chuckle.
The president gives him a small laugh and so do his family " I don't think I'll ever be used to the name." He shakes his head. "And who is this?" the woman asks.
Griffin nods at me "Hello ma'am I'm Scarlett Summers, I'm your husband's bodyguard" she gives me a warm smile and walks up to me and pulls me into a hug
"I'm Kate" she realizes how tense I was and let go she gave me an apologetic look and I gave her a smile and looked down to the baby in her arms "and who's this?" she smiles at me "This I Kane"
he coos at me "he's gorgeous" she nods and gives me a big smile then turs around "Everyone introduces yourselves to..." she looks at me "Scarlett"
She smiles and turns back "Scarlett" she gives them a look "I'm Sabrina" "and I'm Sabina" "and were twins" the last part they say together.
I look to Mrs. Kington "Do they do that a lot?" she sighs and nods the president walks up to me "I'm Ethan Kington" I nod
"Mr. President" he shakes his head "no none of that none of that Ethan, I'm Ethan, we're going to be spending a lot of time together, call me Ethan that's an order." He looks to his wife
"And shes Kate" I look at him "An order?" he nods "Yes sir"
The other man walks up to me "Hello, I'm Liam" he says his eyes scanning me curiously "I'll leave you all to it." Griffin says walking out of the office.
"Well the movers will be here soon and well get everything in order," she says looking to her family and then to me
"Can you help us?" I nod and we all walk out of the office and to the room where the boxes are and we get to work.
