First days are hard. Thats my first thought I have as my alarm is screaming at me at the ungodly hour of 2 am.

Yesterday Ethan told me to report to the kitchen at 6 sharp so I'm awake at 2, see how my mind works? I don't.

So I'm awake hoping to get a work out in before work today. There's a gym in my apartment building, so I throw some coffee beans in the maker with some water, put my hair up and throw in some work out clothes and head to the gym.

By the time I'm done with my workout its 4 am so I run upstairs and get ready for work. I jump in the shower, when I get out I blow dry my hair and put in some loose curls with the iron.

I quickly do my make up in a natural way and throw on a shirt and skirt. I check the clock and see its 5:06. I pour some coffee into a thermos and throw my gun into my thigh holster, my wallet, phone, badge, and spare gun go into a black purse.

I quickly put on a pair of pointed suede pumps with a shine heel,I grab my keys check to see if all my lights are off and walk out the door, pulling the door closed behind me, I lock it and make my way to the elevator, seeing as I live on the 15th floor and am in 4 inch pumps (which adds to my 5'11 height) it's faster I push the button and wait.

As I step into the elevator and just before it closes I hear a woman's voice "Hold the elevator" quickly I push the door open button and in comes a woman she has shoulder length brown hair with striking green eyes.

She gets in and flashes my a smile, I awkwardly return it and face the front pushing the door closed button. She chuckles a little "And I thought my boss was the only one who likes to torture us with early stares. She speaks and I say nothing

she sticks her hand out for me to shake "I'm Tara McLouew, I'm new to the building " I say nothing and the elevator door, bell rings but before we part ways she hands we a card and we silently part ways.

I get in my car and for the second day in a row drive to the White House.
