It had been ages since the Paladin of the green lion had seen her brother. Of course this was nothing out of the ordinary for them, they both have missions they need to complete and other things before either have time to speak. But, something about this time was off. Usually he would send something very small, something that would go unnoticed by anyone expect her. Nothing. She's gotten nothing in days. Maybe it's was something so encoded she's have to actually search? No, Matt wouldn't do that to her. At least not without knowing full well he'd get absolute hell for it later since he made her worry so much. There had to be something..

"Pidge?" Shiro poked his head, sounding a little concerned when he say the tiny girl curled up in the corner on her laptop. Just working away in her own little world. The voice made her jump a bit, she hadn't heard the door open. Not to mention she didn't even notice him standing in the doorway. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. We got worried since you missed breakfast.. and lunch. So I came to check on you." Space dad at his finest! He does worry about them all and given Pidge has yet to eat today he has all the more reason to worry.

"It's fine. If anything that's the least scariest thing to happen to me." Pidge glanced up only to see Shiro's slightly confused expression. "I'm a Paladin of Voltron do not look at me like that. I'm on edge anyways, Matt hasn't sent me anything in ages. I'm starting to get worried about him.."

"He's probably just busy, you and I both know him well enough that that's most likely the case."

"I thought about that possibility but he always tries to send something and it never takes this long. I'm trying not to think of the worst but I'm think the worst."

"What's the worst?"

"He's dead. Can you ask smarter questions? Something like "Do you think you can contact him or a team mate to see if something bad happened?" Yes Shiro, I can do just that if you leave my room. Then I'll find Matthew in no time!" She got a little frustrated at the end but quickly calmed down. "Sorry."

"It's fine, you've said worse to me." They both sorta chucked, it was forced but it helped lighten the mood a little. It was nice for a moment before it was all ruined but a scream that filled the entire castle.

*sorry it's short but I'm rewriting it guys!!*
