Chapter 1

POV Ray's

Ahhh! My Hogwarts letter just arrived! I'm so happy! I can't wait to get into Hufflepuff like all my family before me.

Mom: Oh! Ray! Your 12xgreat grandma Helga would be so proud of you!

Me: Mom. I know. I know. Now, we have some shopping to do.

Mom: Right, right. Here's your Floo Powder.

I arrived at Diagon Alley right before the Weasleys arrived. My family and the Weasleys are close friends. I'm Ron's age, so he's starting his first year at Hogwarts as well.

Molly: Ray! Good morning! I see you're here for Hogwarts.

Alex: Morning, everyone! Pleasant day, isn't it?

Arthur: Sure is, Alex. Hope you all enjoyed your summer break?

Mom: Arthur! Molly! How great it is to see you! How have you been?

Dad: How's everything going at the Ministry?

Arthur: Just fine! How's everything going with Rita?

Mom: She's crazy. She keeps putting down inaccurate information for others to read. 😣 It makes me so annoyed.

I walk to the ice cream place with my sisters and the Weasleys. We all order different flavors and wait for them to get done making them. We all eat our ice cream in peace.

Raquel: What's been going this summer for you guys?

Percy: I got my Prefect badge.

Fred+George: We've had the best time of our lives. We pulled so many pranks on everyone this summer.

Ron: I've been pranked a lot by the twins.

Ginny: I've helped our mom all summer. What about you three?

Alex: I got my badge as well.

Raquel: I was a huge help around the house before, and after, our vacation.

Me: I just my letter and slept in all summer long. Even on the cruise.

Our parents arrived a little bit later. Mom took me off to get my wand, while everyone went to go get robes. Ron and Molly came with us and we entered the store.

My wand is Ash wood, Phoenix feather core,  11" in length, and quite bendy flexibility. We paid Mr. Olivander and went to get our robes next. After a long day of shopping, we headed to the Leaky Cauldron for food.
