Chapter III: The Sword Erzethel

After a half year, my training has been successful. So we decided to go on a journey to find this great evil. "Thank you Zerul for training me. Now, I'm ready to face any monsters that will come our way." "Yes, yes, that is no big deal. Take these herbs; it might help you on your journey. And try to harness the powers of your medallion. Better yet, I recommend you to go and see Queen Krizzia, she can help you with that medallion." Zerul said. So, Shalma, Zureke and I went down the mountain and went straight to the palace of Ariala to see the Queen. "Your highness, you have a visitor." Her servant said. "Ah! The man of prophecy, it is my pleasure to have your acquaintance. What can I do for you?" the queen asked. "Well, my queen, do you know about this Medallion?" When I hand out the medallion, the queen stood with awe. "That medallion, it was Azura's! How did you get it?" she exclaimed. "Well, you see, I turned out to be Azura's only descendant." I told her the things that old hermit Zerul told me. She was amazed of what she had found out. Then she told me that the medallion that I have is just a piece of something even more powerful than that. She also said that even though this medallion possesses great power, its power will only be of full used if it is complete. "I don't exactly know what its half is but there's someone on the Kingdom of Sharif who knows about it. Her name is Zasha. She's a water nymph, an Oceanid. Though she can help you, you must be careful because she's very tricky. When you see her, try to give her a Crex; it's crystallized water. That might appease her not to trick you." Queen Krizzia said. After seeing the queen, we went on the road to the kingdom of Sharif. The way to Sharif kingdom was rough. There are many monsters ahead but we manage to defeat all of them. After a week of traveling, we arrived at the Sharif's gates. We hurriedly went in and immediately find the place where Zasha is. "Excuse us, sir, could you tell us where we might find Zasha, the water nymph?" I asked a local of the kingdom. He said that water nymphs of the kingdom are found at the spring outside the gates of the kingdom on the east side. We went to the place where the man told us. We arrived at the spring but we haven't seen any nymph. "Hey! Is this really the place where those nymphs are?" with doubt, Zureke said. Then we heard giggling and laughing on the spring. Then a nymph came out. "Ah! There you are." "(Nymph giggling)" "Do you know a water nymph named Zasha?" I asked. "Yes, she was over there at the river." The nymph said. We went to the river and found Zasha. "Zasha? Are you Zasha, the water nymph?" I asked. "Yes." She replied. "I have a question to ask you, if you don't mind." I said. "Hey! James, give her the Crex." Zureke said. I gave her the Crex and then I asked her about the medallion. "Oh! That medallion belongs to the great hero Azura. But it is also a piece of a sword." She said. "A sword, that's the missing piece?" Shalma said. "Yes, yes, it is. A piece from the sword Erzethel! That medallion is the heart of the legendary sword Erzethel, the staff is the blade and the Ring is the soul of the sword!" Zasha exclaimed. She also said that the sword was divided to three a long time ago, the medallion, which ended on the hands of the great hero Azura and the Ring, whose owner is the thief Cervus, leaving the staff on the mountain of Tarak, guarded by a dragon. After seeing Zasha and finding the truth about the medallion of Azura, we went to a tavern to rest. But never did we know that an asset of evil was there.
