After the dramatic confrontation between Gertha and Tarkus, finally, we've manage to free Tarkus from the curse and got the staff.

"We have the staff and the medallion, but the problem is we don't know how to combine this two." Zureke said.

"Hey, Tarkus, you're the guardian of this staff, how do you merge this with the medallion?" I asked Tarkus.

"How should I know, I'm just the guardian. Try asking the supreme elementals or the elders, they should know." He said.

So we went to the temple to ask for help from the elders.

On the way, "Hey guys, you go ahead, I have somewhere to go first." Zureke said. So, I and Shalma went on to the temple.

"Ah, James, what brings you here?" Geero asked.

"We're here to ask if you know how to merge the medallion with the staff." I asked.

"Ah! Yes, but I'm afraid I can't merge the two artifacts." He said.

"But, aren't you the ones who disassembled the sword?" Shalma exclaimed.

"Technically, it was our ancestors who broke the sword and according to them, it was because of the help of the stone of Kahlim." Geero said.

"Where can we find the stone?" I said.

"Don't ask where but ask who to find?" Geero said, "The stone won't be found anywhere because it was made, and the person who made it was Kahlim. That's why it's called "the stone of Kahlim"." He added.

So, we went to find Kahlim, who according to Geero is a sorcerer and the creator of the stone who can merge the two artifacts. Meanwhile, Zureke went to the market. He bought flowers for Shalma. Zureke has special feelings for Shalma since we met at Mt. Caraccus.

Then, Shalma and I went to Sorcerer's cove located at the east bank of kingdom Thors. We asked for Kahlim but he was already dead many years ago. We went home empty-handed, on the way we saw a witch woman riding on a flying broomstick. But, there seems to be a problem on her broom. She fell from it; luckily I caught her on time. She was very beautiful for a witch.

"Are you okay, Miss?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you." She said.

I felt something weird when I heard her voice. I felt like my heart is going berserk.

I asked her name. "Ann Jeeh" She said.

Then, suddenly mercenaries came and attacked us. We fought them but Shalma was caught. "Oh! No! Shalma!" I shouted.

"James, what happened here?" Zureke asked. I told him that mercenaries came and took Shalma.

"Those were Akhnauts. They'll probably on their way to Grim Forest. If we go now, we can catch up with them." Ann Jeeh said.

So we huriedly went to Grim Forest, we located the cave where Akhnauts are hiding. Inside the cave, the mysterious man in black was there. "Who are you?" shalma said.

Meanwhile, outside the cave, we were planning on how to get back Shalma. "I have an idea." Ann Jeeh said. "Tal leu veer iikham chortae Akhnauts vhar!" She cast a spell that made us looked like Akhnauts, and then we went inside. The Akhnauts were preparing for sacrificial ritual.

"What are they doing? And who's that weird guy in black?" I asked.

"I don't know who that is but I'm sure he's the one who hired them. And it seems they are going to sacrifice her and then drink her blood." Ann Jeeh said.

"What?" Zureke exclaimed in whisper.

"Yes. Drinking elemental blood will provide them incredible strength." She said.
