Happy 1 year and 2 months my Sunshine!
The world is like glass,
It doesn't take much to notice its flaws.
I'm like glass,
The world sharpens its Claws and digs deeper and deeper without a thought.
My mind is like glass,
It sees its own reflection and
It can't handle the sharp edges.
But, you, you are like an ocean.
You are great and beautiful.
I see my reflection but it isn't sharp.
I don't feel the claws or,
See the flaws of the world.
You are like a river,
you wind up and down the mountain sides.
You are like an orphanage,
You shelter me and hold me tight when the days get rough.
You took me in even if I wasn't good enough.
You are everything great.
When the world crashes around me, I see you through the ruble.
The dust clears and i see your bright green eyes.
You hold me as the tears flow.
You are my sunshine in the rain and the moon amongst the stars.
You are, to the outside world, a boy.
But to me you're all I need.
