Most of the time when someone has been travelling for a long time, they will want to come home. Well that was not exactly the case with Sofia Saltzman. Because that would mean she would have to go back to vampires, werewolves, witches and all the drama that comes with it. But she would also see her friends and uncle.
As soon as Grace and her uncle stepped in to the small town of Mystic falls, they had problems with the supernatural. But after a while they became friends with Damon and Stefan Salvatore, not without a few struggles ofcourse.
She and her uncle helped the brothers with their problems. Most of time Alaric protected his niece, even though she is witch, but when it was revealed that there were bigger problems coming Alaric decided that Sofia should travel for a while. It took a while before she was convinced to go on a worldtrip. But when Alaric told her that they still weren't able to convince Stefan to come home, Sofia decides she has been gone long enough.

It was prank night at Mystic Falls High and all the students were trying their best to set op the best pranks for the start for their last year, senior year. Sofia was helping her friends set up, even though she doesn't go to the High School she just liked the idea of pranking someone.
And it wasn't like she had anything beter to do, she only came back to Mystic Falls two days ago. The only other thing she could do was to facetime her best friend Mel McCall, but Mel was busy with the problems in her town. So this was the next best thing to do.
It was also the one of the most normal thing the group had done in the past year. Almost everything was hell the past year, even though Sofia wasn't there for most of she did hear everything from her friends and uncle when they texted and facetimed.
"Ohh! Oh come on! Seriously?! Do you know how long it took us to set all this up?!"Caroline Forbes groaned as the lights turned on and Matt Donovan stood in the doorway.
"Forget about senior prank night, huh?" Tyler Lockwoord laughed looking at his best friend who just looked confused and shocked. Matt let out a small laugh, "clearly" he answered looking around the room and at his other friends.
"I mean I would have forgottten it to if Caroline didn't text about it." Sofia told her friend but added quickly after Caroline shot her a look "but you have been waiting for this since freshman year."
"Yeah, Matt. If I'm doing this, you're doing this." Elena added. Sofia nodded at that. They all had a hard year with many deaths and threats. Now that she thought about it technically only Matt is still human. Caroline, Stefan and Damon are vampires. Tyler is a werewolf and she and Bonnie are witches.
"I'm kind of surprised any of you are doing this." Matt said with suprise in his voice. Bonnie spoke up "Caroline is making us." Sofia quickly added "I just really wanted to prank someone, so I would have done it anyways."
"We're about to be seniors. These are the memories that stay with us forever, and if we don't-" Caroline said. Sofia and Elena cut her statement off an finished it. "And if we don't create these memories now, what's the point of it all."
Caroline looked away with roll of her eyes "go ahead and make fun, I don't care." Sofia then told her blond best friend "We do care Caroline and we get so let's get back to work."
Tyler just shrugged his shoulders at his girlfriend and friend, "you're all lame. And I've got ten more classrooms to prank" he said taking his bag of things en walked out of the room.
Elena started to walk out of the classroom but Caroline called after her. "Hey, where are you going?" The Gilbert girl turned around with a smile and said "to superglue Alaric's desk shut. I'm making memories.
Caroline smiled yelled after her "I love you!"
"Elena!" Sofia yelled "wait up." she ran to elena and told her all about the plans she had for her uncle's classroom. "I want to set pranks all over Ric's classroom, could you help me with that?"
Elena smiled at Sofia and told her that she would love to help and wrapped her arm around the blondes shoulder. The Gilbert girl and the Saltzman witch were close but they also disagreed a lot. But in this moment they were happy and friends.
As soon as the blonde and brunette walked into the hallway they saw Tyler giving orders to other students that were helping with Prank Night. "Get the faculty toilet seats and Dana needs bodies in the gym. Let's go."
While the two were walking, they were talking about how hectic this year has been. "This the most normal thing have done in like a year." Elena told Sofia. "Well I have been traveling so I have done normal things but this is also nice for a change." Sofia told her brunette friend.
Before they could talk further about how life has been, they bumped into someone. Someone that Sofia didn't recognize. But she did think he was really hot. Before her thoughts could go any further Elena said the name that took Sofia's breath away. "Klaus!"
