My eyes flickered open under a bright light "ugh" I groaned as I began to rub my eyes continuously .
I heard distant footsteps and a sound like the opening of a door " oh my God " I heard voices echo in unison then the bright light was out , I slowly opened my eyes and I realized I was facing directly from the source of light, a white ceiling . I slowly turned my neck and I figured I was in a room. I tried to raised my hands and found out there were pegs clipped to my fingers, I raised my other hand to my head and felt a band wrapped around it . I sat up , looking from my sitting position was a door and it was opened , there were two people staring at me with surprised faces , where was I ?
The man wore a long white coat while the lady wore a plain trouser and a long sleeved shirt with a name tag , who are these people? .
They turned around and closed the door behind them , I could see through a square sized glass , they were talking , they were talking seriously . I let my eyes wonder round the room , I looked at my finger and touched my head one more time ... I was in a hospital.
" ...the project's cut off , they abandoned him for two years now" I could hear the lady say , I could hear behind the doors ,how?
" but he's a property of the firm!" The man said in a high voice
"He's no ones property, he's just a young boy who had been in pain , who had been in keep for six damn years" the lady yelled back at him . 6years? Was I being referred to? , it couldn't possibly be me .
"...six years with an unknown source of growth, six years with no history , you can't have him " the man said in frustration
"Watch me , I will and I'll find his story" she said as she barged into the room and I fidgeted.
"Sorry to startle you" she said as she stood firmly
"Okay" I felt my lips move on it's own ,I knew what I said ? She put on a surprised face .
"Well...um can you recall anything?" She asked and I stared at her trying to process her words
"Do you remember anything?" She said again but no reply came from me.
She turned around , her arms crossed over her chest and she sighed .
"Snow" I hear myself say , immediately she turned around .
"What?" She said and came closer.
"Snow " I said with all confidence and a small smile appeared on her face .
"Progress she said and went towards the door she came out from .
As I sat upright , I wanted to think , wanted to know how I ended up in a hospital but I couldn't. I couldn't even remember how I looked .
" I'm sienna by the way" she smiled as she walked back in .
"Here , put this on " she said and handed me clothes , I stretched out my arms and took it from her .
"You can fold the Johnny neatly and place it on the bed" she said pointing to the green cloth which I was wearing and walked out again .
I came down from the bed ,and my foot touched the cold ground.
I unwrapped the clothes and found a pair of grey jogger and a plain white polo . I put them on and sat back on the bed.
"So where do you now intend to take him?" I heard the mans voice.
"Home of course" came the voice of the Lady and footsteps approached the door.
"Are you ready to go? " she asked standing in front of the door "
'Go where?' I wanted to ask but couldn't find the words . I looked at her blankly .
She walked closer to me and placed her hands on my shoulder " my name is sienna " she said " I've been the doctor in charge of you for six years " she added and my eyes widened .
"Si...six years?" I asked and she sighed .
"Yes six years. The firm do not know the cause of your comma up till now and they gave up on you and the tests but I didn't . I'm going to help you " she said and moved backwards
"So would you come with me" she stretched out an arm to me. I nodded and took her hand.
We passed through the big door, into a big passage way, I kept on following her as she led me through different doors and corners . she slowed down when we approached two big red doors .
"This is it" she said to me " you'd finally leave this damned place " she gave me a smile from above her shoulder but all I could feel and think of was my cold feet on the ground .
"Oh , I almost forgot " she said looking at my feet" stand here I'd be right back " she said and walked past me.
I stood there for a while , my thoughts were empty , I began hearing whispers , whispers that made no sense .
"The accord" this one one became audible, I turned around to see if I could find anyone, but there was nobody .
Something walked past me with speed and I turned back to see what it was but I found nothing .
Again it happened and I began to hear my heart beat .
"Are you okay snow" came Sienna's voice from beside me .
I nodded a yes . But she just stared at me for a while
"OK put this on" she said handing me something that looked like slippers and I stared at it
"Sorry that's all I could find here , when we get home I'd get you nice clothes and shoes OK?" She said and I nodded my head and put on the slipper .
"OK , let's go" she said and pushed open the door and I could feel it . I could feel the air , the light , everything made me felt lighter as I stepped out . I took a deep breath and then let it out as I followed behind her .
"This is Zoe" she said as we approached an old car , the back of the car was higher than the rest parts of the car . I nodded my head at her and I think I gave her a little smile as she walked over to the other side of the car and I heard something click .
"Hop in " she said and got into the car , I did as well.
