Okay so before we go on to look at Ellis' newest design, let's start at the very beginning of his design journey.
Here is his/her first design I made back in 2016, when I first started making characters.

I'm cringing at this right now, but hey, I made this when I first started drawing- The design is pretty awful, since Ellis was a female skeleton Undertale OC and I dislike how I basically copied Underfresh Sans. Don't worry though, because it soon gets a little better.
Now, I couldn't find much of my art of female skele-Ellis, but here is a piece of male Skeleton Ellis I made almost exactly a year ago.

The design is of him without his signature sweater, so it's not exactly his older design, but he still obviously has the copied Fresh Sans look. I also gave him a hat instead of headphones!
The next few pieces were made about six months ago, when I finally changed him into a human a few months prior. As you can see, I soon got rid of his hat as a main aspect of his design, but I've decided Ellis would sometimes wear it.

These aren't really that bad, but honestly, I don't really think the shorts, stocking, and flats really fit his personality much. His hair also had a signature curl instead of his hat. His hair was also naturally white? He also had this weird heart tattoo on his cheek for the longest time-
For a while, Ellis stayed with the same design, but soon, I gave his outfit a slight alter about two months ago.

He no longer wears very feminine clothing as a main outfit, which is cool.
Now, I've decided that he needs a bit of a change.

Instead of white hair, his hair is brown, although he does dye the tips pink (and sometimes he dyes it white and pink). I also made him more thin and scrawny, and I gave him a nose piercing! He has messy curls, and his face is more distinct.
All in all, I'm very proud of how far Ellis has come, and I'm very happy with his new design! (though I might add in his hat again c:)
Thanks a bunch for reading all of this and sticking around to watch me improve! I hope you enjoy modern Ellis!
