I've always had a design in mind for my favourite high anxiety dad but I've been afraid to design him bc I didn't know how to do glasses or make him look similar to his kids-

But I'm honestly so proud of this! I don't work with bright greens often but I knew right from the start that his whole aesthetic was electric green so here we are- Everything is a lot brighter and saturated bc this is when he's about 30-35 and doesn't have dumb-ass kids to worry about If I ever get to drawing him and Russet when they're older, colours will be more unsaturated and Russet might have orange instead of bright dark red hair.
I also spent a few months figuring out his hair style and I'm very happy with it! I always made his hair a big part of his person because A) Daniel's first design featured a ponytail that I loved and wanted to give his dad and B) it's a major part of his backstory of living with his very controlling parents.
Anyways love my 'I'm nervous please do not talk to me' dad.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IF YOU'RE INTERESTED
- 6'5, very lanky and scrawny (shrinks to 6'3 when he gets older and gets pissy about it) - Bioengineer and Biologist at a Laboratory (Has to retire soon but refuses bc he loves working) - Loves his wife !!!! A lot !!!! (Reads to her sometimes bc she has dyslexia) - Cooks, bakes and cleans!!! - Makes the best lobster tails (the dessert) - Fashion is his favourite - Hates the Winter but Russet likes to build snowmen in the backyard so it's not too bad - Still owns his old Montreal house and visits sometimes.
