Austen's POV
They told me, I had forgotten everything. They told me we had moved across the world for a fresh start, and now they tell me I have to go to school.
"Auss! Wake up!! You're gonna be late for school" I opened my eyes, immediately closing it to let myself adjust to the sunlight seeping through the curtains. Sleep overcame me once again and I closed my burning eyes and snuggled into my cozy pillows.
"AUSTEN GREY!!"
"I'm up mom! Don't call my name again!". I sighed as I massaged my temple before neatly making my bed. I hardly got any sleep last night. I was too excited to go to school today. I know, I'm weird , I mean who likes school right? I actually do. Everyone who knows me well tells me that I am too mature for my age.
I walked down the stairs and pulled a chair to sit down. My mom had made some pancakes. She was already dressed to go to work. Halfway through eating, the room filled with a familiar Cologne. My dad was up, also dressed for work. " Good Morning Auss" he reached down to give me a hug and a kiss on my cheek.
"Good morning dad, why are you guys dressed up for work so early?"
"Oh Auss, we are supposed to go to work earlier and end late in Washington. Hope you don't mind us coming home later than usual."
" It's ok dad I'm old enough and anyways I would have a pile of homework to do." I smiled at him to show him that I really didn't mind it.
"Ok big girl, we have to go to work now. I trust that you can drive safely. You know where the school is right?"
" Yes dad, you showed me just a few days ago."
" Good, have a great day at school! Bye!"
" And make sure to look presentable today atleast. Bye sweetheart!" My mom butted in.
"Bye guys!" I said as i closed my door.
"Perfect parents.." I muttered to myself as I skipped up the stairs to shower and get dressed.
I grabbed my book bag and headed out , locking my door in the process. I walked to my car and opened the door. I tossed my bag onto the passenger seat and drove off to school.
I expertly parked my car in the lot and wondered how I can still remeber how to do my daily basics but can't remeber what happened all my life. I sighed as I turned off the engine and clutched my bag before getting out.
"Broodville Highschool" I inhaled deeply and entered the school. Heads turned but no one really took notice of me. "This is gonna be easy." I muttered to myself as I followed the sign that said 'office'.
"Hey i'm Austen Gray and i'm new here. I got here to get my schedule."
"Hi I'm Ms Silver, I was informed that you were going to start school today. Have a great day!" she exclaimed as she handed me my schedule.
" Thank you. I will" I said as I exited the room to find the lockers. After taking the neccessary items, I headed to my first class, History.
I introduced myself to my History teacher and the class. The History teacher told me that I could sit on either one of the empty seats at the back. I mentally groaned when I sat down. I hated the seats at the back and worse, there was no one next to me. But being the attentive kid I am, I took notes while straining to hear What Mrs Smith was saying.
Halfway through the lesson, someone burst into the class and took a seat beside me. I looked up to introduce myself to him but when my gaze lifted, I could see that he was covered in tattoos and piercing.
"Stop staring at me it's rude." he barked, I might say quite rudely.
I quickly averted my gaze to my History notebook, scared to look up at this rude tattooed boy.

Hey guys! This is my first time writing a story. I am not that good in English and might have a few grammatical errors..hopefully I improve. This story seems quite cliche in the starting but its actually not. And i am not copying anyone's idea here..this came out from my own brain haha.. I don't like it if anyone posts my story as theirs .. you can ask me if you want to translate or anything ..hahaha that's it.. comment below if you like it and think I should continue writing this.
