I got glasses. Probably two months ago. My parents both wear glasses. I had the problem of not being able to see properly since 5th grade. At first I wasn't sure if I needed glasses or if I had a different problem. The first, and for a long time, only person I told was my best friend at that time. She took me to the teachers room and said I needed help. After that for four years I didn't tell anyone. Partly because of that.
Today a girl in my class told me, that I now had glasses because I would be too much on the phone. That's what she read somewhere on the internet. It's not the first time she did something like this to me or somebody else. I felt hurt by that. But the worst part was that my best friend stood next to me and said nothing.
Why do we do things like that. Why do we think that we are aloud to judge others even or especially when we don't know their whole story? And why do we side with somebody just because that person is more popular or had connections we may need in the future? Who are we to judge others?
Well the main question is why do people anything? People do things because these things are good for them.
So if that's the case that girl or anyone else who does things like that, has fun judging others. Simple question: how sad and pathetic is that?
