"I can't believe you did that." Brendon gasped for breath as he laughed heartedly. The growing family sat at their reserved tables. They had just arrived moments prior to the reception, luckily they didnt run kate despite having to change all of their outfits that had ben ruined by glitter and Knox's brownie mix.

"I was like what, 18 at that time?" Dallon replied with his hands up. "I was quite rebellious."

"You spray painted penises on your principles car, you deserve an award."

Dallon glanced over to the dance floor as Knox trudged over to Brendon, the man sweeping up the tired boy. "Where's Amelie?" Dallon asked curiously. He had realized as much as he had gotten engrossed in talking to his boyfriend, he lost track of his daughters location.

"With a boy..." Knox mumbled into Brendon's red suit.

At that, Dallon stood up abruptly and Brendon chuckled to himself. Dallon could be a little dramatic sometimes, besides, Amelie was 10 years old. What could they possibly do? Dallon excused himself, going to look for Amelie. Brendon stood anyways, deciding that he should talk to his best friend and congratulate her.

He placed Knox on his left hip as he grazed through the crowd to the opening where the table for the brides were.

"Brendon!" Sarah suddenly squealed as her eyes landed on him, causing Meagan to jump and whip her head in  his direction. They looked gorgeous in their white lace dresses, Meagan's almond brown shair was pinned to the side with a diamond clip and Sarah had her aubrun hair curled and trimmed to her shoulders.

"Hey babe, you guys look absolutely stunning." Brendon smiled sweetly as Sarah hugged her best friend careful not to disturb the sleepy child. Meagan cooed at Knox. She made grabby hands at him and Brendon giggled before handing him over.

"Is this your son?" Meagan asked with shining wide eyes. She was born to be a mother speaking from her love of kids.

Brendon hesitated, looking back at Sarah before finally nodding. "Er, he's my boyfriend's son. I just got to neet him not to long ago but he's precious."

"Dallon's here?" Sarah asked curiously as she looked over the crowd of heads to try and see the tall man.

"Yeah, he went to find Amelie- his daughter."

Meagan tilted her head at the news "Let me guess. Short with brown hair, grey eyes, button nose, loves green gummy bears?" She listed, adjusting Knox on her hip.

Brendon nodded with surprise. "Yeah how did you know?"

"She was talking to Will over by the desert table." Sarah reminded. She then continued as Brendon was still confused. "Will, i told you. Tyler and Josh's son they adopted a while back. Remember?"

Brendons mouth gaped with realisation. "Oh." He nodded remembering. "I still can't believe they're parents."

"Neither can i." Sarah said with a smile looking back at Meagan with adorning  eyes. "Saint is a sweetheart. He can be a handful at times but he grows on you. But thats what family's all about."

Her words felt heavy in his heart. Brendon's gaze slowly drifted over to the left where he found Dallon hoisting Amelie on his shoulders. Swaying back and forth. He chuckled lightly when he saw Will fold his arms in the corner. Who then just turned to his dad, Tyler.

"Do you think he loves me?" Brendon asked so softly he wasnt sure Sarah heard. Meagan had sat down by this time and was nesting Knox with her dress acting like a blanket.

"Bee," Sarah's eyes went soft before turning to her wife. "I'll be right back baby we just need to talk for a second." Meagan nodded with soft eyes at Brendon. It wasnt like she didnt know his past. And most likely, thats what they are going to talk about.

Sarah closed the door behind brendon as she led him to the hallway decorated with flowers placed high above the ceiling to the walls.

"Brendon what's up?" Sarah folded her arms like she does when she gets serious, like her way of saying; im here to talk, im here for you.

When Brendon hesitated, remaining quiet she pursed her lips and sighed deeply. "Is this about Ryan?" Brendons eyes glanced up quickly at the mention. Yes, It was.

"Sarah i don't know what to do," He exhaled out before his body slumped against a creme futon. "It's like, i want to be with Dallon and all he has to offer but I'm just hooked up on... the past, Sarah and i can't get over it! I just can't, as much as I want to and I'm-" It was then Brendon realized he was crying. Tears dampened his rosey cheeks. Sarah lifted her hand to cup his jaw, she delicately swiped the tears away.  Brendon sobbed before breathing deeply.

"Brendon." Sarah wrapped his arms around him slowly. "Bee, i love you so much. You're my best friend and what happened to you, what continued to happen to you for years isn't right. And i know you can't get over it as fast as we'd both want to, but you can atleast talk about it." She said softly.

"Talk about it to someone besides me. Talk to Dallon, Bee, he loves you. Obviously so much that i can't even fathom. He'll protect you when i can't.  He'll love you when no one else will. He's everything you'll ever need and he's right there."

Brendon slowly looked up into Sarah's eyes, he wipped his tears with his sleeve and hesitantly turned around.

Dallon slowly closed the door. His eyebrows drawing closer with worry.

"How long have you been standing there?" Brendon sniffles using the back of his hand to clear his nose.

"Long enough." Dallon replied.
He nodded over to Sarah who smiled, then kissed the top of Brendons head before leaving the room with one last glance.

Dallon walked over to Brendon, his hands stuffed in his pockets as he bit his lip before looking everywhere but at Brendon.  "Breezy didn't love me." He starts. Brendon looks up at him through his lashes. "And I knew that."

Brendon remained silent as Dallon continued, sitting down beside him and resting his head against the wall.

"But I just..." He licked his lips trying to think of something. "I guess I stayed because I believed within myself that she could go back to the way she was." Brendon nodded.

"And after she had Knox, I..." Dallon shook his head. "I had enough. I couldn't take the abuse." A single tear spilled from Dallons ocean blue eyes. "Knox isn't even my child," Dallon confesses. Brendon furrowed his eyebrows together. His fingers slowly linked with Dallons'. "But I love him and treat him like he is. Because i knew for sure if i left him there with her he wouldn't have made it. He probably wouldn't be alive today."

"Dallon..." Brendon said softly. Daklon shook his head.

"I haven't told anybody. Because of what they'd think. Because, i felt it was my burden to carry and not theirs." He breathed deeply. "But i was wrong. And every day, every month i kept myself locked in this mental cage it tore at me and tore at me until i just-" Dallon squeezed Brendons hand for emphasis.

"I love you, Brendon." He said. His blue eyes drowning with emotion as he stared into Brendons dark brown eyes that held equivalent feelings. "And I trust you, so so much."

"I love you too, Dallon." Brendon replied softly.

Dallon's lips tilted lightly with a grin. He used his other hand to gently place  at his neck. "I'm going to kiss you now." He chuckled lightly.

"I'd like that." Brendon replied with a toothy grin. He leaned in, eyelashes fluttering closed as Dallon's lips met his, moving fluidly together. His body electrified as he realized,  out of all the boys he's been with, of all the people hes met, Dallon actually loves him. And he wont leave him. And Brendon was okay with that.
