1 week later...

I got out of bed and rubbed my eyes to the sound of my dad yelling "ITS GOONNE!!!"I heard him cry out i put on a tank top over my sports bra and ran down to their room to see my dad in the bathroom ... Bald😨 "dad"I said getting their attention they both looked back and my dad hugged me tight "baby girl ya daddy is bald " he said "we need to take him to the hospital"i said "man i hate hospitals" dad sucked his teeth "dad your going"i said giving him a hat as he put on his white huaraches we then headed out "I'm driving"i said as we all got into my car as i began driving to the hospital...

Me and my mother been sitting here for a whole hour now and my legs are going 100 miles an hour because im nervous "john johnson's family!"the doctors called we both jumped up "how is he?"me and my mother asked as a union "well...we did some cat scans-"my mom  cut her off "cat scans?..no no it couldn't be nothing that serious"she said "well mam im sorry mr.johnson has cancer and doesn't have much time to live"she said i wanted to cry but stayed strong and held my mom but she pushed me "he's in room 237"the doctor said before walking away I ran there and left my mom behind i got there and a tear escaped my eye "c-come here baby girl"my dad said, even on his worse days he keeps a smile on his face "daddy I love you...i-i don't know what imma do without you"i cried as he touched my cheek "ill be alright baby girl, ill be in a better place"he said "dont talk like that d-dad your so young"i said "baby girl every body has their time, i just dont know how long i got now stop crying and smile; where is your mother?"he asked "taking her time down the hallway"i rolled my eyes as she came through the door "john you can't die on me alright i need you"she said "all you do is think about your self your a selfish woman but I've always and forever will love you, i want you to love our daughter the correct way"he said "you always gave stormy the world and just forgot about me ive always did for her even when you were gone all that time"she said "that's your job, your her mother you shouldn't be mad about that"he said "man fuck you!"my mom walked out slamming the door "ion know where she going cause she didn't drive here, dad i hate the way she treats you"i said looking him in his low eyes "baby girl know matter what i want you to stay strong and always stand your ground no matter what you are a beautiful intelligent young lady " he said smiling at me i smiled back as tears just flowed "i love you dad more than i can say you mean the world to me i-im gonna go through hell without you"i said "you can have everything I got even my cars golds everything and you can tell ya mama that"he said looking at me as i flopped my self into the chair beside the hospital bed the nurse came in with some water and some pills "mr.johnson you have to take your medication"she handed him the pills then the water and i could tell my dad was becoming sleepy slowly until they put the i.V. in him he jumped "i hate damn hospitals! Man"he said  as he began to yawn as i watched as he closed his eyes drifting off i then began to watch his breathing monitor

'What am i gonna do once my dad leaves this world?' Went through out my head as i sat there ...

two hours have passed and I've just been sitting here as my dad peacefully sleeps the nurse came in here and checked on him already one was mean mugging the hell out of me for no reason i think her name was amaria but i shook it off i have no time for the damn drama especially in this time and matter. I looked up to see my dad moving he slowly turned his head "baby girl you still here?, you need to go home"he said in a low voice but loud enough for me to hear "dad i can't leave you here"i said shaking my head "your gonna have to eventually baby girl you need your rest, ian getting out of here until i get into my casket im always here for you to see me, until death call my name and ill be on my way up"he said i looked at him as tears fell then my brain was putting together the words he was saying I still can't believe my dad is leaving me i leaned over the bed and hugged him i wiped the tears that fell from his eyes i kissed his cheek "imma come see you tomorrow okay"i said before walking out the door "okay baby girl love you"he said "love you more"i said before walking out i made it to the waiting room and my mom was know where to be found i looked all around the hospital and got tired and just drove home i got out the car and pushed the lock button and headed in the house to see my mom on couch with 2 bottles of vodka on the living room table i took the bottles throwing them away as i headed upstairs to my room and laid out on my bed....
