I'll Go

Loki L. [During Ragnarok]

"Did you really bet against Thor?" I asked Loki, as we walked into the glass room.

Loki just looked at me and smiled.

"Terrible." I shook my head.

We went and took a seat next to the Grandmaster, who looked so relaxed in his chair.

I saw Thor in the arena waving his arm up as people booed him. His hammer was now destroyed and I only hoped that he wouldn't get hurt.

I cared for Thor since he became my best friend after Loki and I started dating. Loki hated that before, but now he's kind of accepted it.

The crowd went wild as Hulk was released into the arena. Hulk beat his chest, and yelled to intimidate. Thor looked over at him with happiness.

"Hey, Hulk!" He said with a smile. "You're here now?" He asked. "Everyone I know him! He's my friend!"

I heard the Grandmaster chuckle, and shake his head.

"Yeah, ok." He said.

I looked at Loki, who placed his hand on his forehead.

Hulk lunged at Thor, but Thor moved just in time.

"We have to stop this." I said, beginning to stand up.

"I don't think we can." Loki grabbed my hand, and I sat back down.

"Why not?"

Loki opened up a bag of chips from the platter nearby.

"It's his fight. If you want to leave, you have to beat the green guy, and if you don't then... I mean this is a great place I don't understand why anyone would want to leave actually." Grandmaster shrugged.

"Okayyy...." I just looked back at the fight.

"Banner, what are you doing? It's me, Thor!" Thor said, but Hulk really didn't stop.

Hulk hit Thor with a powerful punch, Thor tried to block it with his shield but it was too late. Thor was flung back, and at this point Thor got the message.

"Ok then..." He said, getting up. "I'll get Banner out of you."

From that point, Thor and Hulk were now trading punches, and flinging each other across the arena. At one point, Hulk pinned the god down and hit him in the face repeatedly.

"Well, that's not good..." I heard Loki say.

"It's not, that's why I said we should've helped him, or at least stopped him from--"

"I ran out of chips." Loki finished his sentence, and pouted.

I looked at Loki with a 'are you kidding me right now?' face.

"What?" He said, like he was innocent. If ever...

"Can I call the fight off?" I turned to ask the Grandmaster.

"Then it'll be a automatic win to Hulk." He said.

I looked back at the arena, and Thor was now laying on the ground. He looked lifeless, and I couldn't take it.

Just as I was going to call it off, I saw Thor getting up. I noticed lightning forming on his fingers and coursing down his arms.

Thor hit Hulk with the accompanying power from above, knocking Hulk down for the count. Hulk was slow to respond, and he didn't bother to attack.

The crowd went silent.

"Holy shit!" I clapped in happiness. "Ha, he won!"

"Oh my god..." Loki said unbelievably.

"Well, you bet on the wrong guy babe." I said patting his shoulder.

"But-- how--" Loki shook his head.

"Come on, close your mouth or else you'll catch flies." I chuckled. "Let's see if they have any more chips." I took Loki's hand, and we left the room. Loki still looked shocked.

Time skip...

"Hulk beat you! You cheated!" Hulk said, as he stood throwing his red ball against the wall repeatedly.

We all were in Hulk's room after the fight. Loki and I were sitting together on the bed, and Thor was looking around.

Loki was munching on another bag of chips.

"No he didn't. I don't know where that came from, but that doesn't count as cheating." Loki waved his hand at Thor as he emphasized 'that'.

"From father..." He said, picking up a glass sculpture.

No one said anything.

"We have to find a way out of here." Thor continued.

"There's a ship I spotted down there in all that shit. That'll get us home." I said.

"But why would we want to leave? There's no place that's better right now but here. Hela is going to destroy Asgard." Loki said.

"But it's better if we at least try to fight and not give up!." I said.

"It's not giving up, it's trying to save ourselves!" Loki stood up.

"It's not just about you Loki! It's about Asgard!" I also stood up to meet his eyes. "Stop being so selfish!"

Hulk stopped throwing the ball and turned around.

"Uh oh." Hulk said, and took a seat.

"Both of you stop!" Thor said.

Just as he said that, Valkyrie walked in the room.

"Alright big guy, I--" She stopped what she was saying when she saw the rest of us. "What are you doing here?"

"We need your help." Thor said, and I walked away from Loki.

"I'm not going to help." She said.

"From one shield maiden to another, we really need help. Asgard is in danger... Hela has returned." I said.

"That's not my home anymore." She said.

"But it once was. You served for Odin, and once a maiden always a maiden. Even though you live here now, you still have to protect Asgard under any cost." I explained.

"Well, she is right." Loki said from the back. I looked back at Loki.

"Please..." Thor said.

She looked away and sighed.

"Fine." She caved in. Thor and I were now happier then ever, but Loki was not approving.

"We must leave immediately then." She said, and we nodded. Hulk began to follow Thor and Valkyrie out the room.

I went near Loki to retrieve my things. Loki just watched me.

"So, you'll rather run off with him?" Loki said, crossing his arms.

"I'm not running off. I'm doing something that you should be doing. Saving Asgard." I said, putting my bag over my shoulder.

I turned to leave, but I felt a hand grab my own. I was pulled back into the chest of Loki.

Loki didn't hesitate to crash his lips on my own. He held me close, as my hands went up his neck to his hair.

He broke the kiss and I looked into his eyes.

"I'll go." He said.

"Was that all it took?" I asked, and smirked.

"No." He let out a chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah." I said giggling. "Let's go."

Loki and I walked out hand and hand, quickly catching up with the others. The doors closed behind us, and we were gone.
