~Seto's POV~
After many potions, arrows, and fire, I was ready to heal this scar.
"Should I even heal this? It means so much to me. How I didn't mean to break the promise..."
The promise I gave... that just tore me to pieces as I continued to think about the scar.
"Ty... I'm sorry..." I whispered to myself.
~FlashBack~
I was enchanting a sword when a boy came rushing through my door. He was breathing hard and... bleeding?
"H-Help m-me... p-please..." He said weakly. Then he passed out.
"Oh god! I need to help him." I said. I quickly summoned a roll of bandages to help the poor boy. I started wrapping the bandages around the bleeding scars and cuts that was all over his body. After that was done, I picked him up and took him to the guest room to relax and wake up in a calm room while I was brewing and enchanting to sell to the men in the city. Time passed and I heard footsteps coming from the hall.
"Oh, you're awake! Welcome to my enchanted home. Please feel free to explore and make yourself at home."
"Oh, thanks for letting me stay." He looked scared of something.
"Hey, is something wrong?" I asked.
"Oh... when I woke up, I saw bandages on my cuts and scars. I thought my father was going to take them off and cut me more until I die from blood loss."
"Oh..." I stopped. That was his father that cut him? "Well, I'll protect you and give you a potion that will make you feel better than what your father gave you."
"Thank you... I'm Ty. Nice meeting you by the way." He said as he gave me his hand. I looked at his hand. I slowly grabbed it and shook it, strongly and firmly.
"Seto. Seto Sorcerer. I'll make sure you're out of harms way." I said proudly.
Weeks have passed since the day we met. I gave him a potion of healing and strength for him to drink. His pale skin color was turning into a peachy color. His cuts and scars were starting to disappear. I taught him how to enchant and tell him the basics of Standard Galactics. Our friendship was strong. While Ty and I were enchanting a sword for Ty to protect him, a chainsaw cut through my door when I saw a man looking really pissed.
''Get away from him!" I screamed. But he was too quick and cut me on the side on the shoulder. I was scared and disappeared, leaving Ty by himself in the woods. I had broken the promise I have kept for two weeks. I watched him get dragged away by the man, I'm assuming that's his dad. He had a razor and started cutting Ty. I heard screams of terror and all I could say was something I couln't forget.
"I'm sorry." I whispered as I cried at the fact I just broke a promise.
~Flashback over~
Tears started running down my cheeks while I heard a knock on my door.
"I'm.. not expecting someonne, am I?" I said as I walked to the door to see a group of boys and girls at my door. One that happens to be Ty smiled at me, saying, 'I'm back'. It was Ty. And he had a group of friends and armor to protect himself. I had to hug him with tears rolling down my cheeks and a smile on my face.
"Ty, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I left you to suffer from your da-" He cut me off with a smile on his face.
"It's okay, Seto. It's fine." He pushed me away to stop the hug. "But, other things are important right now. We need your help." I nodded.
"What's your request?'' I asked as I signaled them to come into my home. Ty and a few others of his friends told me what's going on, ending it with the request that was a shock, yet an easy task to do.
"We need you to enchant these armor pieces that need to be invisible." Ty finished. I thought for a minute. Then I came up with an idea.
"Alright. I need to start with the strongest armor and weapon. Who has that?" Everyone pointed to a girl with amethyst armor and sword. On her neck, she had these gray headphones, and her shoes? Nikes. The best pair.
"What's your name?" I asked her.
"Aaliyah Gonzaga." She replied. I looked at her with wide eyes.
"Aaliyah. Nice. Can you hand me your helmet please?" She nodded as she took off her helmet. Her hair looked beautiful as she handed her helmet to me. I stared at her.
"Don't get any ideas of dating me. I'm already engaged." She said as she held up her hand for me to see a gold ring.
There's my chance of getting a girlfriend, I thought sarcastically. (I'm just kidding. I don't plan to get a boyfriend yet. -Aloe)
When I reached my enchanting table, I looked at a book and saw the enchant on how to make the piece of armor turn invisible but making the owner see it at the same time. After ten seconds of searching, I saw the words to enchant the piece of armor. I concentrated hard and in three seconds, the helmet was glowing a shade of light purple. Then, I summoned a quill and an ink bottle and started to engrave a name. 'Aaliyah'. Then, I gave the helmet back to her, and in an instant, she was gone. The only thing that was left of her was a pair a floating armor pieces in the air.
"Hey Jayroome! Spooky Boobs!" Mitch hollered
Then the floating pair of armor punched Mitch.
"Ow! I was kidding..." He said.
"Thought so." Aaliyah said.
"Ok, so now that I got the spell set up, I'll have to do everyone else's armor, which should take a while. When do you have to go to the place?"
"Not until the moon reaches it's peak." Aaliyah announced.
"That's perfect. Good enough for everyone's swords and armor pieces. Oh, also, if you need materials, go to the back of the hall, I have an unlimited amount of gems and good stuff. Especially amethyst."
"REALLY!?" Jerome screamed as he ran into the back of the room to find only stone tools.
"What the h-"
"Did I mention it's the one to your right?" I chuckled.
"Ughhhhh. This bacca ain't happy..." Jerome sighed while everyone laughed along while I continued to enchant and engrave the armor. Everyone's armor and weapons were now enchanted with invisibility and other good enchants. Everyone was talking until I announced, "I will be going to." Everyone stopped talking and looked at me. I couldn't tell though because everyone was invisible.
"No... Seto... please. I... I don't want you to get hurt again." Ty said. He put his invisible hand on my shoulder.
"No. I don't want you to die either. You guys are going to need more than just swords and invisible armor to fight one of the craziest beasts in the world. You guys need me. Magic."
Then this was only one opportunity to either die with my friends, or survive and kill the beast.
