I wake up with a cramp in my neck, I felt the cold hardwood floor as I pushed my self off the ground in confusion.
"Umm.. how did i get on the ground??" I wonder aloud.
"You fell off your bed last night" My mom said peeking in my room, "alrighty Ella it's time to get moving."she finished as I looked over at my alarm clock
Sure enough it read 5:30, I groaned loud enough for her to hear,
"Ella, I don't want to hear anymore whining!"
I hopped in the shower and turned on my morning playlist consisting of 80s and 90s soft and classic rock, just something to get me moving. As I was singing along to Look Away by Chicago I heard my mom knock on the shared bathroom door. I turned off the shower and opened the door.
"Umm.... honey it's 6:50, you have 10 minutes hurry up." She said bluntly. I knew she would send me to school if I was ready or not so I ran into my room and threw on whatever i could find, skipping my makeup/morning routine and opting for some mascara. I grabbed a granola bar before heading out to the bus stop.

When the bus finally picked me up I sat in my usual spot in seat number 3. 9th graders were normally pushed to the front own bus since we were in the younger group.
Jeremy sits next to me as usual(Jeremy never has .ajn roles in fanfiction so I'm putting him in mine). He has been my bestfriend since 7th grade, he is the only person that really understands me.
"Hey El did you see the new kid yesterday?" He asked
"No, was he cute?" I questioned
"Kinda, he seems like your type though." He replied
"We'll see about that." I said and with my. Last words we arrived at school
