Emma felt her head just pounding, her stomach hurt so bad. She opened her eyes to see she was in a room, in a big bed. She had no idea where she was. She tried remembering what happened last night, but she couldn't. All she remembers is Matt telling her how he felt about her, and her kissing him. That's all. The rest of the night was dark. By the head pounding, and the stomach pain, she knew she had a hangover. Then boom, she knew where she was, in Matt's guest room. If she rolled over, would she see Matt laying next to her. She took the risk, and nobody was there. She slowly got up, trying not to throw up. When she was standing up she saw she had the same clothes on that she had last night. She walked out of the room, and went down the big stair case. She had no idea where Matt was, but then she heard someone in the kitchen. She walked in to see Matt making breakfast. "Well, good morning love!" Matt said with a huge smile on his face. "Good morning." Emma said calmly. "Well love, how are you feeling today?" Matt asked. "Not so good. I am sorry to ask this, but what happened last night?" Emma asked. "Well Swan. After you kissed me you kept drinking the wine. I told you to stop but you didn't. We talked about your personal life, that's about it." Matt replied.

Emma was scared, what did she say to him? Did she tell him about Neal, or prison? "Well love, let me tell you, you have one hell of a story. I mean you should really consider writing a book!" Matt said. That's when Emma's stomach turned. She felt like she was going to throw up, and not because she was hungover, because of what she might have told Matt. She ran to the bathroom and threw up. Matt being the hero he is,  ran into the bathroom and stood by her side. He held her hair back with his one  hand, and rubbed her back with what was left of his other hand. Emma felt better mentally knowing he was right there. Emma lifted her head up. "Matt, this may be a really stupid question, but we didn't.....do anything thing last night right?" Emma asked awkwardly. "No Swan, we didn't." Matt said with a smile. Emma sighed of relief.

"Swan, do you want me to call Mary Margret?" Matt asked. "No, don't bother her. If you don't mind, could I actually rest here?" Emma asked. With no hesitation Matt responded, "Yes, of course you can love. I don't have to work so I can take care of you!" Emma smiled one big smile. When Emma was done throwing up, Matt carried her to the couch, turned the TV on, and sat down next to her. Matt was sitting up straight and Emma had her head on his legs. He brushed softly through her hair with his fingers, and rubbed her head. Matt was so thrilled this moment was happening. "So Matt, does this mean we are a thing?" Emma asked softly. Matt responded, "Yes love, yes it does!" Emma fell asleep to the sound of the TV and Matt brushing through her hair.

When Emma woke up hours later, it was just her on the couch. She looked at the clock to see she had slept for the rest of the day, and it was already 6 pm. She looked around, and nobody was there. She saw on her right arm she had a band aid. She pulled it off to see a little dot of blood, and a tiny dot on her arm, almost like she got a shot. "Matt?" Emma called. Matt ran down the stairs, his hair was wet as if he took a shower, and he smelled so good.  "Is everything alright Swan?" Matt asked. "Yea, I was just wondering where you were at." Emma responded in a foggy voice. "I took a shower. Well, do you feel any better?" Matt asked. Emma really didn't think about it. "Yes, I actually feel way better." Emma responded. "Great! Then the shot worked." Matt replied. "What shot?" Emma asked. "Well, I stopped by at the hospital and there is a drug for hangovers, and your's was pretty bad. So I gave you the shot. I really didn't know how it would turn out!" Matt said. "Well, it worked!" Emma said. They both smiled.

Emma's face soon went completely white. "Emma, are you alright?" Matt asked. He ran over to her. "NO NO NO NO NO!" Emma cried. "What, Swan what is it?" Matt asked. "I was supposed to start my job today!" Emma cried again. "Oh, Swan. I am sure David will understand." Matt said. Emma closed her eyes and put her hands over her face. Matt sat down and wrapped her in his arms. "Life really sucks right now." Emma mumbled to Matt. Matt just squeezed her tighter. This was it. This was when Matt was going to ask Emma the question, if she wanted to move in with him. "Emma can I ask you something?" Matt said softly. Emma sat up slowly. "Yea." Emma replied. "Are you staying for diner?" Matt asked in complete shame. "I would love to!" Emma replied. She leaned over and kissed him on the lips for a quick second. "Matt I am going to take a shower!" Emma said as she ran up the stairs. Matt sat there in complete shame. He was such a wimp for not asking her.

While Matt was waiting for Emma to be done with the shower, he noticed that it was dark and gloomy outside, as if it had rained all day. Matt sat on the couch looking out the window when he heard the door bell. He ran to the door to find Mary Margret standing in the rain. "Mary Margret, come in!" Matt said. She had a bag of clothes in her arms. "Hello Matt! Emma told me to bring her some clothes, so here they are!" Mary Margret said. "Thanks, I will give them to her." Matt said. "Well I better go, David is at the house. He told me to tell Emma he was sorry he didn't make it into work today, he didn't feel well." Mary Margret said. "I will." Matt said. Mary Margret started walking away. "Wait, Mary Margret. I have a question." Matt said. Mary Margret ran back inside. "Yes?" Mary Margret asked. "Look, me and Emma are really tight, and I want to ask her a question, and I want your opinion." Matt said. "Okay, so whats the question?" Mary Margret asked. "Well I want her to move in with me. So I am going to ask, but how do you think she is going to take it?" Matt asked. "Matt, I say ask her if your heart tells you too, and personally I think she would love to!" Mary Margret said with a smile. "Thanks Mary Margret!" Matt said then hugged her. "Matt, one more thing, Emma is a really sensitive girl. I don't know if she told you her life story, but she had a hard past. I trust that you will love her, and care for her, but please don't break her heart!" Mary Margret said, then ran through the rain to her car. "I will try mate, I will try." Matt said as he closed the door softly.
