Stefan went home to his castle where his mother and his father are planning a royal ball so he can find a bride and married her he told them that he wants to find his wife in his own way with the right girl but they suggest to have a ball. Back at Elena's house Elena was cleaning the house and doing her chores she asked her stepmother Isobel if she can go to the ball with them Isobel told Elena that if she gets her work done and finds a dress she might go but Elena spent the whole night cleaning and cooking and helping her stepsisters Katherine and Rebekah to get ready for the ball but she couldn't go so she was left alone in her house doing the same work as always praying to go to the ball.
